Nothing will put a smile on your face like a friendly Irish pub; luckily for you, Muldoon's does just that!
A sports bar, live-music venue and restaurant all rolled into one, Muldoon's draws sports fans, partygoers, and diners from everywhere along the Hibiscus Coast. As you can imagine it's a very informal and relaxed setting – schedule your feed with the big game and pig out in front of their many (many) sports screens. Alternatively, grab a front-row seat for the hottest local talent, or head to their patio for sunset. The possibilities are endless!
And the same goes for their food – pizzas, burgers and classic pub grub form this killer of a menu. Napkins at the ready for their small plates; you've got the likes of Loaded wedges, beef nachos or Club Sandwiches to contend with.
Maybe keep the napkins on standby for the immense 'Doon Burgers' or 'Ultimate Cheese and Mushroom burgers'... alternatively give your cutlery a spin with the beef and Guinness pie or grilled pork belly. And with heaps of traditional pizzas to choose from, you just found the pub equivalent of a four-leaf clover. We're ecstatic too!

Great Lunch , Service and Food amazing
We back for a 2rd time to see if I would get the same service and great food and they showed up. Really had a great time and the chef is what I would call a top chef. Great guy and know what he is doing and the staff there are amazing. This is for sure on my list of one of the top places that I will take my family and friends for lunch and dinner.

Substantial meals in a traditional Irish pub
Muldoon's Irish Pub is about as close as you can get to a traditional Irish pub in the heart of Orewa. The food was very good with substantial portions. Service was pretty good with a friendly waiter/barman. We were the only diners. The place is showing its age and one should be wary of that. It is not nearly as trendy as the many restaurants along the main road. However, we enjoyed ourselves and would recommend it to others. Note: Parking is a bit of a challenge.
