The day we visited it was light rain, still enjoyed the visit. Really impressed with the indoor garden & gallery. We got it at a discounted rate through book me, not sure i would have paid full entry price to go otherwise though.
Although it was our first time here, we noticed alot of the works were recently acquired, which suggests ongoing investment and that things are constantly changing. It was our first time however, and our kids (aged 9 and 10) got as much out of it as we did. They were inspired and captivated, having never gone to something this 'out there' before (they've been to art galleries, museums and more, but this was next level). Recommended for the whole family. The cafe we gave a miss however, as the menu didn't really cater for families (posh expensive dishes).
I have been wanting to visit Sculptureum for ages and finally went yesterday. It was amazing, such a beautiful place. I am a massive art lover and this place had some amazing pieces particularly the glass collection. I would recommend this place to people of all ages. The gardens are immaculate and well looked after. The inside galleries are exquisite and I loved the automatic doors leading to others. Go visit Sculptureum, you will not be disappointed.
The Sculptureum is a great place to visit if you are in the area. We spent a couple of hours there, with our Canadian visitors. We will definitely be taking other visitors (although will try to avoid a weekend in the summer holidays as the traffic from Warkworth to Matakana was ridiculous)

Great collection of art and sculptures
A wonderful collection of both art and sculptures. Loved the collection of glass works, and the sculptures in the garden. Lots of information about most of the pieces, it took us several hours to work through all the exhibits
