You’ll have an absolute ball as you twist, slide and whizz your way down the fresh snowy slopes of our custom made tubing tracks.
With tube sizes for both adults and children, families can now enjoy the magic of snow tubing in a Winter Wonderland! Winter Wonderland is a safe, family-friendly Alpine Village in the snow dome where kids and adults can have fun on the snow away from skiers and snowboarders.
When you are not Tubing, take time out to explore the Alpine Village, make snow angels, throw snowballs, play hide & seek amongst the trees, toboggan, and of course, take great photos and selfies.
Just 30 minutes from Auckland, Snowplanet is New Zealand’s only indoor snow resort - bringing you the atmosphere and facilities of an alpine resort all year round.

Please Note:
Skis, snowboards, snow boots, clothing, lessons, gloves and F&B are not included in the price.
The snow is cold at a chilly -5C so you need to wrap up warm and wear appropriate clothing such as pants, jackets, beanies and gloves, all of which are available for hire or purchase at the resort, subject to availability.

Great Family Fun
Had a great time with 2 children under 8 on the toboggan and snow tube. 1x hour was enough, and then hot chocolates in the restaurant.

So much fun for the kids. We loved it. Will book 2 hours next time, 1 hour wasn't enough!!

Overrated
I wouldn’t recommend snow planet to anyone, there was no measures in place for disinfect hired gear specially u times like these when we are in a pandemic. Helmets were stinky, we went to winter wonderland, but I wouldn’t call it wonderland, things were broken, fairy lights were out. No safety measures were in place. I am giving it 1 star coz only the toilets weee clean.

Not ideal for families with younger children
Wasn't what we'd hoped for. Definitely wasn't enjoyable for our 1yr and 4yr old. Trying to get boots was also hard, it tooks us 3 trys, at one stage we were given two left boots. Then waited so long that the younger kids were restless and over it before we even started. Our 10yr and 12 yr old liked it a little more. Luckily while me and my husband entertained the younger two the older two could carry on any enjoy themselves. When trying to get back into the changing area to get my phone from my bag, there was a lady stopping people entering and when I went to re-enter she was really rude and told me I shouldn't have come out and in. However didn't say anything to me on the way out. Most the staff weren't that friendly or accommodating and it feels like a place for the elite with all the gear and are there to snowboard etc or those who go often, not for families wanting to try something new.
