Restrictions

  • Minimum age: 3

  • Each kayak can hold 200kgs; the maximum is 110kg for 1 person.

    ALL people in the kayak must be able to swim 20 metres unaided.

Child Friendly

  • This experience welcomes families with children.

Notes

  • 1 kayak seats 2 people. Price is per double kayak for 2 people.

    Please note:You will need to fill out a waiver when you reach the beach.

    1 person on each kayak booked can swim 20m unaided. Please let the operator know if anyone in your group is a beginner swimmer or has any medical conditions that could worsen when kayaking

    Operations are alwaysweather dependentand can be cancelled at short notice.Please ensure you check your emails (including spam / junk) as well as Clearyaks website the morning before travelling. Link will be included in the confirmation email.

Great fun

Loved being able to look through the boat, especially at the kelp forests. It was only a small area that we could kayak in so a lot of time to try to catch the rays etc. People were friendly and lots of walk up rentals too.

A disappointing experience

I was expecting to be able to kayak in a kayak that was actually stable (I own a double kayak myself) and didn’t expect to be limited to a very small area in which we were allowed to go. This was a very disappointing experience and I definitely would not recommend it. It was a complete waste of money.

They’re very stable, though they may feel tippy at first—extending your legs straight out can help with balance. I checked the weather for your trip, and it seems we would've offered the largest paddling area possible that day. We aim for a relaxed, exploratory paddle rather than a long-distance journey, which might have felt different from what you expected. So much fun!

We loved our experience, the kayaks were amazing - so cool to see everything swimming by underneath us. We were lucky enough to also see sting rays!
