Amy said... We took our two kids to Rotoroa for the day. Beautiful ferry trip over to the island. Beautiful island with bays and bush walks to be explored. Some historic buildings too. Really lovely day. Our youngest child is 8 years old. She got tired at some points but overall was fine. There are some steep parts and some tracks are harder but they are shown on the map so you can avoid that if you'd like.
