Sonia said... This is an amazing trip. Hobbiton was so much more than we expected. Nicola was our guide and had a fantastic knowledge of the Hobbit trilogy and the LOTR films. The buffet lunch in Hobbiton was plentiful and with a great selection of foods (savoury and sweet). The glow worm cave networks are fantastic and enormous - our guides Russ and Beth were excellent. For the final part of our trip we visited the Otorohanga Kiwi House and Native Bird Park and were thrilled to see the Kiwi's defend their territory against the 'intruder' (park keeper) at feeding time. So funny to watch. There is a great variety of other native birds too. All in all a very enjoyable trip. Well worth a visit :)
