Rangitata Rafts offers some of the best Grade 5 rapids in New Zealand. If you’re after an adrenaline filled day in a beautiful location with fun and friendly guides come and try this grade 5 rafting adventure.
The Rangitata is the perfect river for first-time rafters and people who have rafted all over the world. The skilled guides will teach you everything that you need to know before you hit the bigger white-water rapids.
Your rafting experience will start at 12:30 pm when you arrive at a beautiful lodge in the middle of Mt Peel Station. You will be provided with all the gear you need for the day, hot showers for afterwards and a good old-fashioned Kiwi BBQ for after the trip.
Your day will take approximately 5 hours including 2.5 hours of white-water rafting.
To come on this trip, you need a have a reasonable level of fitness and basic swimming ability.

So much fun with Deano!
We had Deano in our boat and he was amazing. So funny and made us feel safe while still having an awesome time. Highly recommend!

너무 즐거웠습니다!
이날 혼자 가서 매우 뻘쭘했음에도 불구하고, 가이드(Sean? Shawn?)가 너무 많이 챙겨주고 도와줘서 정말 즐거운 경험이었습니다. 크라이스트처치까지 픽업도 되고, 끝나고 바베큐 먹으면서 래프팅 사진 보는 재미도 너무 좋았어요! 투어 몇 주 전 홍수로 인해서 강물이 불어나 중간에 한 급류는 래프팅을 하지 못하고, 내려서 산을 걸어 올라갔어야 했는데, 이게 너무 힘들었지만ㅋㅋㅋ 그래도 전체적으로 너무 재밌었어요. 저희 래프트는 중간에 반 정도 뒤집어져서 다들 물에 빠졌었는데, 처음에 들었던 안전 교육 덕분에 바로 구조 되었습니다. 물에 빠졌을 때는 조금 놀랐는데 서로 도와주고 구해주려고 나서서 너무 감동이었어요ㅎㅎ 경치도 너무 아름답고, 래프팅도 재미있어서 한 번 더 오고 싶었을 정도에요.

Money well spent
Great experience, looks expensive on the surface but well worth the money, all the instructors were great especially Luke who was our personal guide. BBQ and Beers after we’re great, a little out the way but we’re worth the drive and money.
