Rohit said... Guide was good and did a great job of making a fairly flat river into a fun experience. The rock jump was great. The colour of river is beautiful with amazing surroundings. But an overcrowded raft made it an excruciating experience, in a raft for 6-8 people, 10 of us were stuffed like sardines. Rafting was scheduled for 2pm-4pm but they only got started at 2.20pm and took forever so we finished after 5pm. In addition there were no proper changing rooms or showers (the toilets smelled), I have paid similar prices in Switzerland & Austria and had a better experience and service. Rafting in NZ would be great with a better company.
