Awesome experience

thomasc said... This was my 60th birthday gift. This was awesome. We were welcome by all the glider club team. We were offered some coffee and donuts, waiting for the weather to improve. Then we were taking to the glider, explained thoroughly what was going to happen, the safety rules, the instrumentation and controls. Then we took off and as soon as the tug plane released us, the instructor gave me the controls (this was a full dual controls glider). What a sensation ! The responsiveness to the controls is so immediate. And the feeling to surf on the air and play with the wind ! And the panoramic and unobstructed view, unbeatable by any classical aircraft. I wish I could do it again, and again and again.
