The tour operators were great and knowledgeable. They gave us a brief overview on how to use an e-bike and then equipped us with gloves, helmets, safety vests, and riding packs then off we went. The guides made sure every one was able to shift and power their bikes on a quiet back road before heading out onto a bit more of a busier street. There was a little riding along with cars but for the most part, we had the roads to ourselves. Really nice trek to the top of a big hill with lots of opportunities to stop for water or take pictures. Then a long down hill passed sheep and cows.
I have ridden a bike before but this was my first time on one with power assist. It was a lot of fun.
