I found the concept of this tour awesome, and I loved being able to see Edoras without having to rent a car. I appreciated the little touches, like the movie clips shown during the ride, and the weapon props at the actual site.
Unfortunately, I can't give this tour five stars, because, as a massive LOTR fan, I was disconcerted by how little the guide knew about the movies, books, Tolkien, etc. He was a good guide, kept us all safe, fed, happy, but he had very little passion (it seemed) for the subject of the tour.
If I'm going to blow money nerding out over LOTR, I want a guide who matches my knowledge and passion for the subject.
