Nigel Davis said... We always pop into Willowbank Wildlife Zoo when we are in Christchurch. It is a compact native zoo, we love all the animals but particularly love the kea and kiwi areas. You get so close to the kiwi it amazing. This time there was a very small baby carpuchin monkey which was super cute. The mother was so gentle with it. Willowbank have a great variety of birds including Takahe. An awesome kids play area and farm yard. A lovely boutique zoo with a great cafe attached.
