If you are looking for the ultimate island day trip, this is one that you will not want to miss – perfect for families, couples or singles alike!
To start the day, you’ll jump in one of our amphibious seaplanes at Nadi and enjoy a relaxing 30-minute flight over the Pacific Ocean passing stunning coastlines, rugged mountain terrain and other islands in the Mamanuca group. Your friendly pilot will interact with you along the way, pointing out interesting landmarks and various facts about different islands and resorts.
The seaplane will land in the pristine waters at Yasawa Island after which you’ll jump into a boat and enjoy a 30-minute scenic ride toward the Sawa-I-Lau caves – made famous by their feature in the movie “Blue Lagoon”. When you arrive, prepare to be greeted by the friendly locals before being amazed as you visit the Sawa-I-Lau caves and dive into the crystal-clear waters. They are truly breath-taking!
When you've finished exploring, take a break at Nanuya Island Resort where you will be treated to a scrumptious 2-course lunch, sourced with local ingredients and topped off with some light refreshments.
Then you can while away the time as you please! Get in some sun-tanning, try a bit of snorkeling or make use of the resorts non-motorised water sports including kayaking or stand up paddle boarding – the choice is yours! With so many activities on offer, you’ll never get bored and you’ll finish the day with great memories to be treasured.
