100% recommend!
This was the perfect way to soothe our muscles after walking the Tongariro Crossing. The staff are so very lovely and the facilities beautifully maintained. Just a wonderful place to relax!

A lovely experience
Staff were friendly, we came at 4pm, it wasn’t crowded. It was 26c outside but we still had a great time, mostly spent time in the largest pool which was 37c. The hot pool was 40c and was really hot. There was a slightly cooler pool too next to the hot pool. Clean, places to put your back pack by each pool. There’s also a water bottle refill tap. Such an amazing experience

Wairaki Thermal Pools
Spent a couple of lovely hours here after a day of hiking. There are 4 pools with different temperatures and it was very relaxing and enjoyable. The staff were very friendly and everything was clean and looked nice.

Relaxing break at Wairakei Terraces
Spent a relaxing couple of hours at the hot pools and enjoyed every minute of the experience. We received a very warm welcome and tried all three pools. We enjoyed a light lunch afterwards- we would thoroughly recommend Wairakei Terraces - Thermal Hot Pools.
