This was my second time at pools and first time in the outdoor onsen. It was a beautiful day and a perfect start to my birthday. Really liked the nature feel of the outdoor pool and personal touches with the selection of drinks and snacks, which adds to the luxurious experience. I will be back, hopefully more often than I have been. I would love to experience the pools in the winter. Better get booking!!! Thanks to the staff for being lovely and attentive.

This was the loveliest place on earth from the gorgeous foyer to the spa and even the showers!!!! Everything was beyond amazing! The view cannot be described, it was so so beautiful! We had the Tandeki package which was well worth it and we went at 1pm which was amazing! couldn't recommend them more✨

We hd an indoor onsen as it was quite snowy but the experience is SUPERB! the view and the place is absolutely stunning! We'll Definitely back for more!

The process in booking a time via BookMe came promptly. On the day, we drove there as it was just a 4minute drive from our AirBnB, we missed the sign at first but managed to find our way there easily. Good parking area for customers and prepare to walk from carpark to reception - our reservation was at 08:30am - so we were there around 08:10am — still cold!!! Upon arrival, we were greeted by a friendly staff. We were seated in a warm comfortable couch while they prep our snacks.. a few minutes later we were showed to our private room. The place was clean and the staff was able to explain how to operate the pool. The water is hot so you have the option to add cold water. THE VIEW IS THE BEST!!! Overall, we had a great experience. Totally recommend!

Perfection amazing

We had very good experience at this place. Staff was really good. We bought indulgence package but due to power cut they were out of ice creams. But they replace it with juices and also offered us refund for ice creams which we really appreciated. Thanks Team Onsen ?

Wonderful experience. Beautiful location. Great views. Will definitely want to revisit again in Winter at some stage. 1 hour was just not enoigh for us. Totally worth a visit.

Everyone should put this on your bucket list if travelling to New Zealand. Amazing location, top service and great value. Must do.

Friendly staff and a great oneson hotpool experience

Onsen Hot Pools is definitely a must when visiting Queenstown! We absolutely loved every second of it. Worth the money!!!

The staff were friendly, we were treated like VIP, the beer and food were delicious and the live music was incredible!! Cannot wait to come back to this piece of paradise

Really knowledgeable lady talked us through the gin tasting.the food was next level delicious too and we definitely left with a few bottles to purchase! They do things other than gin and I highly recommend the spiced rum it's decadently caramel tasting!

We had a great time at Onsen Indoor Hot Pools. The view is amazing! Every area is clean and very well kept. We 15mins early for our 10am appointment and were accommodated right away, the place is not too busy yet at this time so it was great as we didn’t feel rushed by staff. They were all very friendly and explained things well. This package include the 1hour soak and with towels and snacks (we chose drinks and ice cream!). Overall, it was a very pleasant and relaxing experience that we enjoyed!

We had the most wonderful experience at the pools. The view just breathtaking. The pools were so good. We did not want to leave. This experience is a must for everyone. We chilled out afterwards with herbal tea and chocolate. The staff were courteous and very welcoming , including the bus drivers. Thankyou Onsen for the wonderfull, experienced we will be back.

It’s my second time to visit onsen and always has the best experience. The view was picture perfect. Staff were very accommodating. Indeed an exceptional experience and we’ll definitely come back again and again.

We booked an outdoor spa, didn’t realise there was a choice of two other experiences. I think if I’d known I would have gone for a more private one. The view and the experience was lovely but although relatively private, you could hear the conversations either side which spoilt it a little. I also didn’t realise that children were allowed, to me , this defeats the object of relaxation. Also the constant buzzing of other people’s ‘time up’ ruined it to as we were constantly unnerved thinking it was ours. That being said, it was very enjoyable if peace and quiet isn’t your priority.

Great experience that lived up to my expectations. The Onsen staff, were so helpful and welcoming. Very well presented facilities throughout the complex. Our tub and bay was clean, the water warm with various options for the jet stream control for bubbles, lovely shower and towels available. Great choice of snacks and drinks to chose from. Stunning views of the Shotover River and we were spoilt by fresh snowfall on the surrounding mountains. Loved that the Onsen lived up to our expectations! Ataahua, beautiful!

This was our second visit to Onset and it didn't disappoint. Try and time your visit with the sunset for some seriously amazing colours reflecting on the snow capped mountains in front of you. We added the $25 indulge package to our soak which included bubbles, trad ion a lot New Zealand ice cream, water, towels and an oil burner which smelt incredible. My only whinge and this is really going on a Kim would be sharing the small piccolo of bubbles.. one each would be ideal but that's just me being greedy! We'll be back.

Jess and team looked after us very well, make sure your arrive nice and early to get the most out of your experience. Lovely brewed teas on offer.

As always, Onsen never fails to disappoint! Have been here before but never tried the outside Onsen so thought I'd give it a try and it is amazing, especially during the day. Amazing views of the river, private area to yourself and the staff were lovely. A must visit when in Queenstown!!
