Milford Sound is such an iconic place that you need to immerse in it and see it from different aspects. The 2.5 hour kayak followed by the 2 hour cruise looked to be and indeed wax a great way to do that. The kayak trips get you up & personal with the water. The cruise let's you see more and in a relaxed way. Perfect.

Me and my husband drove to Te Anau the day before so that we can have a good rest and only catch the tour bus for a 2hrs drive. The coach arrived on time and the driver was very knowledgeable with few stops here and there. The cruise itself was amazing, food was great and the service of the staff was impeccable. It is really worth going on a tour bus rather than driving yourself to Milford Sound as you wouldn’t know history or information about the places you will pass through on your way to Milford Sound. Added bonus was a snowfall during our trip. I would highly recommend Go Orange for a trip to Milford Sound!

If weather is clear it will take your breath away. We were lucky enough to experience this cruise during clear & calm weather. Choose your timing wisely because cloud cover or wind will totally change this experience. That said, the drive to the bay was well worth the entire trip alone. The mountains and landscape is beautiful!

So pleased we didn’t drive as the bus we were in had glass ceiling so the views were amazing our driver Shey was enthusiastic with some great stories about the area, the boat trip around the Fiord was great some beautiful water falls and scenery and again the information about the area was very interesting. I would like to comment about the price as a lot of these type of trips for New Zealanders should have a local rate as there are so many things to see in our own back yard that we just can’t afford.

Going through the milford sound is an absolute must when visiting New Zealand! The views are beautiful, on this cruise we were able to get close enough to cliffs for waterfall puctures and seal sightings. No only was the cruise great, the drive to milford sou d was amazing. Do it at least once if cost is a barrier.

A knowledgeable tour guide and small sized boat made for an unforgettable experience. We got to get up close and personal to waterfalls and seal colonies, and learnt many interesting facts along the way. Would definitely recommend ☺️

Loved it. We had a spectacular day. Took the 3:15pm trip. Less people on board which made it much more comfortable. Scenery was spectacular. Worth every cent.

From seeing dolphins to seals to penguins, it was just amazing!!! Definitely a breath taking moment!!!

Breathtaking! To date the most memorable experience in New Zealand. Being a Welshman it was great to hear the history behind the name ‘Milford sound’, turns out to be a man from my home town Milford haven :)

A value for money cruise. The cruise ship was clean and look new, free flow of coffee and tea on board. The cruise so near to the waterfall was awesome.

Just after the school holidays in early May was a great time to go. No crowds, no snow or ice on road. We took our time and had 3.5 hours to get there - time to stop at the views on the way and have some ham rolls for lunch from our car. Take bug spray for the carpark - the buggers will try and get in the car!

Absolutely worth the drive & the money! Strongly suggest this experience! The guide is amazing at her job and really makes the experience even greater. Amazing sites and we spent the whole time on the top deck! If you come to Milford sounds YOU NEED TO DO THIS!! Thank you southern discoveries for the beautiful experience.

The weather wasn't perfect but it's a awesome experience. The staff was very friendly. Coffee and tea was nice for warming up.

A magical place one of the best experiences of my life. The landscape is unbelievable and the most waterfalls I have ever seen. The cruise was great getting so close to a waterfall that you get wet was the best. A must see for everyone.

Gorgeous views. The best part was the waterfall, we also managed to get wet. Our kids enjoyed it ehich was great. Loved seeing the seals. The only downside I would say is not knowing about the free tea and hot drinks. I would've got one earlier if I had known. No sign to say help yourself. But overall nice day out but most importantly gorgeous views.

Had an amazing boat cruise on an overcast afternoon. It was beautiful and mystical. We were running late due to the road closing while the snow was cleared and the boat thankfully waited for us. The staff on the boat were awesome! Would definitely do this cruise again!!

Stunning and beautiful cruise full of waterfalls and nature! We took the 10:30am tour before the tour buses arrived and it was much less crowded. We’ve never laughed more than when we got our glacial facials!

This is over the top, just unbelievable! I need to pinch myself to check that I’m not dreaming. Photos will not do justice, nothing can, promise! You got to see it to believe it. Just stunning, no words breathtaking wonder! My five-oh milestone yesterday is hands up, most remarkably memorable 🥂 All glory to God who create and paint and sculpted and breathe the Milford Haven 💕

This is very nice experience. But you need to drive a long way to get to the Cruise first. The weather might be a big factor, too. Cheers Enjoy

An absolutely amazing flight experience by Over the Top. Such a fabulous team with special thanks to Katie for the warm meet and greet and Brad our pilot for a great flight. We were upgraded to the champagne and pavlova package which was a wonderful surprise for my husband celebrating his 50th birthday. We had great weather and got some fantastic photos. For anyone who is hesitant about flying in a helicopter don't be - I was terrified but the team at OTT are so reassuring making the experience thoroughly enjoyable. An unforgettable Milford Sound Nature Cruise experience! From start to finish everything was well organised, and the scenery was absolutely breathtaking. Cruising so close to towering waterfalls, sheer cliffs, and wildlife made it truly special. The crew were friendly, knowledgeable, and shared great insights throughout the journey.
