Thank you for running this great session. Neither of us had kayaked before, so we're a bit nervous about managing the distance etc without a guide and within the time limit. We needn't have worried as the guy (sorry can't remember his name) explained the map and basic paddling methods. We had an amazing morning paddling around Lake Wanaka, taking in the fantastic views We got out to stop on one of the beaches for a break, but found it a bit tough getting in and out of the water etc so after that, carried straight on to the end. We managed to complete the route in just over 2.5 hrs. In future, I'd take a nice little picnic and rest up a bit more and chill. A highlight of our trip!

What can you say, add 1 cruise boat, 1 Great Lake, multiple islands, beautiful weather and snow capped mountains and you have the perfect cruise. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, and we loved having a good conversation with our skipper. 5 stars all the way 🤠

We had a great time on this tour. It is a very enjoyable trip across the lake and with all the autumn colors out it was a fantastic relaxing voyage. The walk to the island peak was enjoyable and our guide told us bits of info as we did the walk. The captain also gave us a great time telling us all about Wanaka and the local scene. We would recommend this trip to everyone as it is so different to the usual " tourist" activities

We had a great time on the lake with our excellent driver and your operator Matt’. It was so much fun and he was very engaging and knowledgeable. All the staff made sure we knew what was going on, from the time we booked and it was a great experience up the river and across the lake with those awesome views and great spins.

The ride combines a cruise across the lake, some high adrenaline fun and a quiet recharge for the next burst. Our Driver Steve was excellent and provided a great commentary on the lake and river. Highly recommend!

I took my 4 year old here for an explore and picnic and we both enjoyed it. Tim was very friendly and gave us some interesting history of the island. A must do when visiting Wanaka! I look forward to checking out another island sometime!

Lovely afternoon out, friendly operators, they were knowledgeable about the area and great with the children who were on the trip. A nice leisurely, scenic cruise for a couple of hours.

This was a great trip, lovely cruise on the lake then a wonderful walk over the hills on the station. Breathtaking views when you got to the lookout area. Great place to have your lunch. Wonderful crew , really appreciated your taking the time to stop at a beach on the boat trip back so some could go for a swim. Great day, thanks.

As a first timer to Parasailing I am so glad I gave it a go and the team at Wanaka Parasailing were fantastic, friendly and the humor put me at ease to enjoy the experience. 360 degree video allows you to return home and share the moment with others and select any photo you want. Excellent value for money, amazing views and a must do.

Met the water taxi driver at the wharf & climbed aboard for a leisurely & informative trip up the lake toward Mou Waho. The island walk was reasonably steep but so worth it … awesome views from the lookout at the top & an inquisitive Buff Weka encounter. Lots of bird activity which I love watching. Quicker boat ride back. I couldn’t think of a better way to spend 3hrs & would definitely do this again.

Family of 5 superb trip up to a little island. My teenage daughter said it was the highlight of her trip so far and we have already been to Queenstown. The hike was steady but easy enough to take my younger son. Well worth going if you are at Wanaka. Highly recommend. Taryn

An absolutely beautiful sunny day to go cruising around the lake. Skipper was so chatty and knowledgeable, it made the trip all the more interesting. The cheeseboards and variety of drinks were lovely. Definitely value for money.

Enjoyed a pleasant ride out into Lake Wanaka and the Clutha River. Sarah our boat driver was very personable and informative and drove the boat well - nice job..!!

Gorgeous boat and very very friendly, welcoming hosts. A simple trip out to the island viewing the coast and scenery. Lovely way to spend an afternoon.

I can’t recall when I last rode a bike but I’m glad I made a decision to rent one. I was able to see more scenic sights around lake wanaka. Went all the way past the river then back. Wish I hired it the entire day so I can stop and hang around the beach. The guys at the Bike Lounge suggested the trail to me and helped me adjust my bike. Overall it was worth every penny.

The view from the balcony looking over the lake and mountains is just magic. The friendly staff are really helpful and the service is nice and relaxed. The food - wow the food. It was absolutely beautifully presented and the taste was just so delicious. You could tell that the chef really takes pride in their work. Taste & presentation was of a 5 star standard. The price was really good as well. Highly recommended

beautiful, mind blowing views and awesome little history lesson on the island with very friendly staff. Staying an extra 10mins at the end to sit with my family and just soak it all in would of been the icing on the cake. But I would 100 percent recommend to all. Cheers - we will be back

Great hosts and nice comfortable boat. Good choice of wines, beers etc. Quite a small number of people on our cruise so plenty of room to move about. The cheese and crackers were nice and plenty to go round. Only thing was the hour went really fast, could have done two easily. Beautiful scenery.

A different way to see beautiful Lake Wanaka! The boat was clean, comfortable and very stable. Tim & Tim, Captain & crew, were friendly and helpful. The walk on the island was interesting and the view was worth the small effort. Very glad we did this Cruise. Highly recommended!

We had 1 hour cruise at 5:30, the weather was on our favour and we had amazing time. While simple experience the free first drink and cheeseboard makes it a very memorable.

Great cruise on Lake Wanaka with a lovely guide in Bronny. A great way to spend 2 hours, with spectacular scenery and a very comfortable ride in the catamaran. Highly recommend.

What an amazing scenic cruise to the island, we got bumped from Ruby island to Stevenson island, captain Tim and the wonderful Bronnie did an amazing job with information. Bronnie on deck with her knowledge of the area and being our guide on the island, was truly a blessing. Thanks to both of you.

I would highly recommended this cruise if you want to have a short and easy trip in Lake Wanaka other than just sightseeing at the lakefront.
