okay, I will admit that I did not want to take a boat to experience Milford Sound, which is why I had originally booked a kayak tour. However, with the intense rain (that turned the sound into an amazing waterfall extravaganza!) my tour got cancelled. So I hopped on to the smallest boat I could find and ended up with Mitre Peak Cruises. I really liked how the captain took the time to show all the spots (even taking an extra lap to let the dolphins swim with us and another one to fish up a hat that got blown off someones head). All and all a fun day and an amazing experience!
