We booked on the 12.10pm form Queenstown and the bus didn't arrive until 12.35pm. The driver was in no mood to communicate and gave just 1 word answers to everything. In the end he asked where we wanted to go as he was going to miss out a load of stops because of the roadworks. He then drove as fast as he could along dangerous roads over the speed limit at one point overtaking a car on a bend. When we got to our first stop we asked when he would be back and he said I'm just the driver, look at the timetable and drove off. He arrived back at our destination 10 minutes early, we had to gulp down our tasting to make the bus but another lady made him wait which made him even more angry! On our final stop he turned up on time and announced to the whole bus, I did it, I'm on time!
We only made 3 of our 4 stops we wanted to make and we will today take a taxi to the last one at our expense.
On the plus side, the venues at Gibbston, The Church and Ma Rosa are lovely, but in future I would probably pick a better way to get there!
