My family and I had a beautiful dinner here last night! Great atmosphere and friendly staff! Already planning our next trip.

What a gem! Cute decor inside and loved the enthusiasm of the Chef/Owner(?). Decided on the specials of the day which were so delicious, we recommended they place them on the main menu! Locals were stopping in on their way home to grab take-aways, and other patrons enjoyed sitting outside. We cannot wait to dine again!

Our daughter loved all the different interactive pieces along the way. We all enjoyed the team ride too. Everything was great.

MOTAT is a great place for everyone to learn and explore. Kids don’t realise they are learning as they press buttons, interact, and explore MOTAT. It reminds us of what the world used to be and how far we have come with transport and technology. It’s great how well maintained the place and the equipment is-we can touch and experience the old phones and ride on trams. The family enjoyed it very much

The zoo's design has been thoughftully planned and is visually pleasing. I think all the animal enclosures were for the welfare of the animal, with places to hide if so desired, as well as areas where you could view them. A highlight was sitting "next to" a cheetah as it lounged beside a glass barrier in the wet weather. It was wonderful to be so close to an animal, knowing it wasn't drugged or being forced to do something against its will. We spoke to a couple of keepers and were blown away by their friendliness and vast knowledge of not just their own animals but of the natives and conservation issues and programs beyond the zoo.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The kids really enjoyed seeing all the different animals. My daughter loved taking photos of all the animals. She really enjoyed the meerkats and all the African animals.

We love the food and staff was great too. Loved the share plates. The room was a bit dark though so hard to see the food. We will definitely be back!

As always great good and service. Special time with family. The food and staff were amazing as always. For us it’s our place to go and take our family and friends and make some great memories being together.

Took two of my friends from out of town and we were all very happy that we pick here to have dinner. It was amazing food and service. The staff was very friendly and the manager made my friends feel very welcome. This is one of my top places to take my friends. I would recommend them no doubt. Looking forward to going again sometime soon.

not many animals were out and about do didn't get to see a few of the good ones. Great day though

Amazing day out at the Auckland Zoo. Saw 90% of the animals and some amazing photographs

I love the Zoo, sadly on this day there were many animals not to be seen and there was a tree issue (Act of God) that blocked the path through the African section so weren't able to see the Lions. There is alot of renovation going on, it's going to get even better and I am looking forward to it.

The staff and volunteers were soo lovely and kind. I loved how they made most of the areas one way. It made sense. I'm really looking forward to the the inclosures. I can't wait to come back again 😊😊

My whānau and I visited the zoo during winter it was a sunny day though. We enjoyed it so much seeing the new enclosures being built makes Us more excited to come back! Which will will be in the summer time. The staff are all friendly. Food is expensive especially for a whānau of 8 highly recommend taking your own lunch and drinks. Overall awesome experience.

Looking forward to visiting again soon to see the animals in their newly built habitats. Some of the plants around the Zoo are incredible too.

We go to the Zoo Pretty frequently, so this time booked in on a weekday afternoon, about two hours from closing. This was a perfect choice! Carpark was deserted, all the animals were out, and active - it felt like we had the whole zoo to ourselves! My son loved it. Despite being so close to closing, the staff were all extra friendly and attentive. Wholeheartedly recommend.

Friendly staff, clean spacious and interesting animal habitats. Easy map to follow. Food really expensive so bring your own. Will definitely be going back more often.
