We have travelled from the South Island and driven up to Wellington. We have seen a lot, interacted with a lot of folk and had a blast. The tour run by the charismatic Hamish was a highlight. His quick wit, knowledge of the LOTR movies, safe driving, situational awareness (notably with wayward mountain bikers) were a joy. Notably his knowledge of Wellington, the surrounds and flora were fantastic. Absolutely incredible trip and would recommend for anyone who wants a deep dive into the LOTR and the Wellington film industry! Great time all round!

One of the best tours any Lord of the Rings fan should take, period! Our tour guide, James, had an unparalleled knowledge of The Lord of the Rings, and it was incredible to see how the trilogy was filmed — right here in Wellington. 10/10 would do the tour again. Highly recommended!

The adventure trails were do-able although it does get really challenging at stage5. We made it to 5 and man, sure did it feel like a whole body workout. I appreciate that the crews were encouraging and attentive, always looking out for us and advising us on hows the best way to pass the stage. Mostly kids and think we were the only ovegrown kids on a Monday. Surely you gotta do it when you visit Wellington! Totally worth the money!

Adrenaline forest is a fantastic confidence boost. My girls left feeling like they could conquer the world. Even tho it was a wet day they still enjoyed it. The staff were great. Hubby and I are thinking about giving it a go now.

I was super excited to find a place taking kids as young as 5 rafting, which is something I love to do. It was the first time for my daughters (5 and 7) and it was the perfect level for them, easy rapids but with splashing and excitement. Our guide Ty was great, we did lots of swimming and jumping from cliffs at the end.

We were stoked to be able to bike despite a cold damp day. Our bikes were ready and shuttle on time. David loaded our bikes while we finished lunch. Nice and chatty, great directions and info given to us and great bikes. We will be back.

I Hired an EBike from Pencarrow with my 10 year old daughter and we both had soo much fun! The Staff were really friendly and explained everything to us and it was simple as anything. I would absolutely recommend it to everyone and we will absolutely be back to do it again.

We got lucky with a beautiful weather. Sailing was mostly smooth. The owner, Tim was friendly and so was his beautiful dog, Shake. Our second time hiring electric bikes here, had a fantastic afternoon riding out along the coast through Oriental bay and on to The chocolate fish cafe out at Shelly bay.

I had never been on a boat, i have no issue going on a boat again. Beautiful day, staff were friendly, we went over to days bay and straight back just for the boat ride took my younger brother who also hasnt been on a boat. Will be bringing the whole family back in December for another ride. Thanks heaps

if u want a chilled cruise and some local facts with an onboard bar this is the crusie for you. very relaxed and shane the dog is a star.

We did the tour of Gallipoli which is only $3 more than the regular adult entry ! It started at 9.30 which is great to get in before the museum opens at 10! This exhibit was incredible and very moving. We spent 3 hours there and went back the next day as our ticket was a 48 pass.

Fantastic trip for the first morning in wellington. Our guide Hamish was brilliant he gave us so much information on the city. Would highly reccomend.
