Wings over whales was great, the reviews don't lie! I would highly recommend them. We saw a couple of sperm whales and about 300 dolphins. The views of Kaikoura were nice too. The flight was very smooth. A must-do!

It was a shame that the wale are not out in our trip but the polite is really nice and show around the ocean and guide us around. At least we see some little dolphins. Besides, the polite told me that we can go for a free flight next time. He recommended come in winter next time when will got more wales appears.

This tour seriously needs to be done by everyone in NZTA It was done in such a friendly professional manner from the time you enter the whale watch building to boarding the bus to the boat and back again. Very strong on safety which is a must considering how fast the boat goes. We had an awesome narrator who joked around but also answered any queries with enthusiasm. Captain and rest of the staff were also great with giving clear and concise instructions We saw a hector dolphin which is rare and dusky dolphins and two amazing sperm whales Well done Kaikoura whale watch

What an amazing experience !! Wonderful staff went out of their way to look after myself and my elderly mother who has mobility issues. The whales and dolphins were spectacular!!

Our journey was on the newest vessel which was amazing. Because of the Covid restrictions, numbers were limited which was in our favour as we all got amazing, unrestricted viewing. We seen two sperm whales, and Hectors dolphins along with NZ fur seals. I have a long connection with Kaikoura but have never taken a tour due to severe sea sickness, with the help of 'sealegs' and a boat that was smoother on the water we finally managed to tick something off the bucket list. Highly recommend

Absolutely loved it. We were privileged to see 2 whales. The first within 20 minutes. It was a beautiful day and an absolute treat. Fantastic start to our South Island holiday. I would do it again in a heartbeat. Excellent customer service from start to finish.

Absolutely amazing. I have booked this drip twice before when traveling South Island and not times due to weather it was cancelled. I have been wanting to do this for years and so please to finally be able to do it and wasn’t let down.

It was a great day out pity the whale behave and do there things but we did see one. Got to see other wild life out there and got some nice photos of the birds. Would recommend it to anyone

What an excellent trip. We were a party of 11 extended family and we loved it. Even the weather came good (the rain stayed away!) The highlight was seeing a sperm whale for a reasonable length of time and moderately close. But I think the special highlight was seeing the huge numbers of Dusky dolphins all around the boat for quite some time. What amazing animals they are and so friendly. Thank you to the informative and helpful staff - an excellent commentary and awesome to see a female captain

Absolutely loved the whale watch- and as promised the whales showed up ! Considering it was mid winter even the weather behaved…. Crew were great - informative and friendly. Was one of my bucket list things to do and well worth it - lived up to my expectations and beyond

An amazing experience from start to finish. We were well looked after. The commentary was fantastic and informative (and really funny at times). My life long dream was to meet a whale and I wasn’t disappointed when I met him. The crew were so respectful of his territory but we were still fairly close. It was a magnificent 3hrs that I will never forget. Thank you so much

Staff presentation on whale knowledge was fun and informative. The surprise encounter with dolphins is a memorable experience, especially with guidance from the friendly staff on side at the deck.

Easy opportunity to whale watch. Affordable, and 95% success rate, plus, they take you to see Dusky Dolphins and fur seals, of there is time. The sperm whale was great to see, got some great photos of the tail flip. Dolphins were fun to watch, they are so playful.

Really happy that I took the trip, the personnel is so kean on letting you spot as many whale tales as possible, the boat speeds between the whales and there are plenty of opportunities to spot other wild life as well.

Professionally run with extremely friendly staff and all of the equipment needed to almost guarantee a whale sighting. We saw 2 whales (one twice) and a pod of dolphins. Would highly recommend

I’ve been wanting to go whale watching for years! And this didn’t disappoint. The boat is comfortable, the crew were laid back and very knowledgeable, filled me in on lots of great information and of course we we luckily to see 2 sperm whales, lots of Albertos and a small pod of dolphins to top it off! Definitely recommend

We had a superb experience on the 15th Aug. The sea was very smooth and the sunshine on full beam. Everything was looking beautiful. The whole operation was smoothly and professionally run and we had the extreme pleasure of ! 5 ! Whale Experiences and then 2 dolphin pod sightings. It was very exciting! We raced from sighting to sighting - the crew were pretty excited too! All in all a fantastic experience as part of our 30th anniversary Tour. Thank you.

It’s really fun when captain leads us to chase after the whales location! And a group of Dolphins pop up and hanging with us for a long time! It’s really amazing!!!
