We had very good experience at this place. Staff was really good. We bought indulgence package but due to power cut they were out of ice creams. But they replace it with juices and also offered us refund for ice creams which we really appreciated. Thanks Team Onsen ?
Nick was fantastic at explaining situation and helped my daughters understand the behaviour of these beautiful natured creatures. From one child who has a phobia of them to having her feed one with her bare hands in the end. I must genuinely recommend you experience this yourself even as an active family, the interaction on this tour was outstanding! Thanks Nick and team for a wonderful and positive experience A+++++
Was not sure what to expect as I don’t have much interest in Honey or Bee’s but just wanted to try something different. I went with my Fiancé and our 3 year old toddler and we all enjoyed it. It was really interesting, fun and educational. We had a good laugh at some of the funny facts about Bee’s. We walked out of there full of knowledge on the life of Bee’s and all the hard work that goes in to making honey. My 3 year old didn’t really know what was going on but he was able to participate with the honey spinning. Highly recommend! Really friendly atmosphere too and nice cafe.
We were late to our experience but luckily, Nick was so kind to still let us do our tour. We enjoyed our time and found out new facts about bees. Makes me want to start my own bee farm lol. Nick will also ensure the honey you make during the tour will be acceptable for overseas travel. And they make the experience so unique by printing your photo and sticking it in to your jar of honey. I also purchased some extra honey to take home - they made unique flavors in store. Will def come back during my next visit to QT :)
A really great educational experience learning about bees and honey making. My friend and I really enjoyed it, definitely a must do unique trip when visiting Queenstown! Cafe lovely too, amazing coffee (had a shot of honey in mine..would recommend!) Thank you 🐝🍯
A wonderful and fun learning experience for all the family. Our 4 year old daughter absolutely loved learning about the bees and having the opportunity to make her own honey! Nick kept her involved and engaged throughout the process. We look forward to our next visit and to making candles and soap. Thank you, Nick.
What a great day! Lovely venue, interesting and informative guide and just so much fun!! Nick was great, full of knowledge and we were in shock at how much we learnt! It was a beautiful day and so lovely to be able to sit in the sun with a delicious wine and sandwich after (would recommend even just going in to try these as both were delicious!) We would definitely recommend the tour to all that are looking for a little something different to do in QT and who want to learn a little bit more about NZ's beautiful bees! Thank you Nick and crew for a great day!
Wow- such a fun, informative and hands on activity. We were so glad we chose this wonderful experience over some of the other larger, more well known activities. Best choice!!! A huge thank you to Nick, our honey expert and teacher of all things honey and bees. He was very engaging and truly loved what he was sharing with us- nothing was too much to ask. I would 100% encourage everyone to head along- awesome host, great experience, tasty food and drink at the cafe and lots of products to tempt everyone!! Also, nice to support a true local gem!
I enjoyed the informative talk and demonstration of how honey is made. Rosie the guide had a good way of explaining things to us. I was happy we got to keep a jar of honey for ourselves each.
We registered to this experience with our two daughters, Nick welcome us and show the hole making process of the honey with great and educated knowledge about the bees. We are very happy that we took this experience which was both enjoyed and educated. I recommend this experience for adults and children.
I was lucky enough to end up alone on the tour as 4 people didn't show up. This was a really personnalised experienced and I got to ask all my questions and Nick answered them all. I got to manipulate a drone (the male bee not the remote controlled thing :D), we opened the hove to find the queen, I got to taste the honey straight from the hive. At the end I even got to spin some honey even though it's not included on the tour and I paid the discounted BookMe price. Also all the stuff in the shop is fascinating. At the end I realized that it had gone by in a flash which in my mind is a sign of having had a good time.
It was a fantastic experience. Nick is very knowledgeable And I learned a lot. A fun experience for all ages. Loved the personalized honey. Highly recommend it.
Just an amazing morning suitable for the family or couples, just a nice break from the normal Queenstown money hustle. A local business, locally owned and staffed by people who love bees. The cafe there is pretty bloody good, nice sized slices and a really good coffee,,, yep You heard me they can make a nice cup of coffee which appears to be rare in Queenstown. Seriously tho this is a must, such great value and so informative.
Took our two kids (9 and 7) while in Queenstown for something a little different to do on holiday. Really glad we did it, will be something we remember. We all learned something new and interesting which we could share with friends and family on our return. Rosie was lovely and there is a great shop there if wanting to buy something.
We were looking to do some activities before leaving town and decided to join this interesting Honey Spinning. We are educated with beekeeping informations and facts then proceed with spinning our honey experience. It’s so fulfilling ! The kids had so much fun trying to sneak their fingers into their honey and have a honey treat! There is also a kids play area outdoor with huge trampoline, playhouse and small sheep barn. Bonus for visitor with kids! Totally worth it and must try ! Highly recommend !
We were very glad we chose to have this experience. It was totally engaging, very informative, and professionally run. Nick, the owner has a vast knowledge of bee culture and clearly explained each step in the process of extracting honey from the hive racks. The photo labels and of course the honey was a brilliant touch. We sent the photos of us on the jars of honey all over the world with excited return comments. This is a brilliant activity for people of all ages. The shop, the cafe and the garden are perfectly laid out for everyone to enjoy. All the staff are very friendly. A great place.
This tour was excellent- great guides who went above and beyond to make this the best trip ever. Awesome views over Queenstown, Arrowtown and beyond. Such a unique experience that no one else can offer- the commentary and local knowledge travelling through local sheep farms with a long history in the area. Will definitely be booking again and recommending to others. Awesome work team look forward to the next adventure with you. Thanks for such a wonderful time on top ebikes.
The instructor made it interesting and fun and the boys were fully fully engaged. They loved being home things to use and show the family. Highly recommended for young families and older kids will enjoy too.
I thoroughly enjoyed the experience which I will be passing on to my other family members. It was something different educational and interesting with the bonus of making your own gifts to take home. A nice afternoon
I'm a local to Queenstown and jumped at the opportunity to check out some new terrain. The trip is on private land so I can't access it with the help of NZeBike Tours. The scenery was stunning! 360° views at the top which you can't ask for more! The biking is a bit of a workout but that's what you want. The ebike takes all the effort out of it and the ride down afterwards is heaps of fun! Shay is a great guide, full of local knowledge and super helpful. Thanks for a great day out mate!
Good experience, easy to learn how to make your own things with natural ingredients.
Thanks Andrew for your piloting us. It was my husbands 60th Birthday and a surprise. The views are amazing and stunning. Never leave home before coming to The Queenstown area. A big plus for any trip here. Pick up and drop off for accommodation with no extra charge is a bonus. Highly recommend
I absolutely love their new summer menu. So many dishes I wanna try. I could probably do Podium 10x in a row now and try something different. I had the salmon and the chocolate crémieux for dessert and every bite was to die for. Definitely recommend it. Not just a standard hotel restaurant. I would pick Podium over most restaurants around here plus good location for ppl who live in Frankton and don't wanna drive all the way to town;) see u soon!
Good at overall. The staff are very friendly and most of the food are tasty. Love the date pudding and lamb kafta. The fish was a little heavy (too creamy) to me.
Excellent food and service!
Beautiful food and absolutely the best proper restaurant service I’ve experienced in Queenstown for a very long time. Could not have been better. Thank you, we will definitely be back
I loved the food, how they services and overall so satisfied. The place is cozy & clean really nice coffee too, made my day!
Love the calamari salad
