Get the premium e bike if you hire. Makes the ride so much more enjoyable. Smooth gear changes, good power assist. The ride around Queenstown area is fantastic. Guys at the shop very helpful. Thoroughly recommend hiring from Bike and Beyond.

Was so awesome to have an e bike so I could get the most out of my day. Queenstown and area has lots of great bike trails, but the hills would really get me, so having the extra kick of the E bike helped me get up them.

We were blessed with a beautiful sunny day and the whole trip was fantastic. The driver was very nice and knowledgeable. A little wifi problem but rest of the trip is worth it. The stops at scenic places are very thoughtful.

Stan is our driver and guide, he is very humorous and has excellent time management. The buffet on the cruise is delicious. I highly recommend this itinerary.

The first bus we were on had an oil leak so we did have to wait in The Anau. However the company were so proffesional in handling this that it hardly felt like a glitch in what was an amazing experience. The trip to Milford and the cruise are WELL worth the cost and the photos don't do the place the justice it deserves. Thanks a heap guys!!

My mum and l had a great time on the Milford sound and Coach. We had excellent views of hundreds of waterfalls on our way to Milford as it was a rainy day it was still worth it. Our driver was excellent and had a lot of knowledge about places and names through out the journey. We had an amazing time on the cruise it was just a majestic place. The cruise staff were great and lunch being provided on the cruise was also a treat. I would highly recommend the coach and cruise you also get to to stop at key places along the journey to take in the scenery and take lots of pictures. It was a great experience.

A brilliant day. Pick up on time, friendly group, great driver who was knowledgeable, chatting away telling us interesting facts, I learned so much. He was happy to make numerous stops for photos, really went out of his way to ensure we all got the most out of the day. Arrived at Milford with just a few minutes to wait for the boat tour. Spectacular scenery from start to finish.

Greg was our super star host/bus driver for the day. Kept us informed and entertained all day long. A total asset to this tour company. The stops along the way were just breathtaking as was the actual boat tour of Milford Sound. Such an amazing place that it seems surreal. Beauty beyond words. 100% recommended. We were a little unsure of doing tour from Queenstown but we are so glad we did. Best memorable trip ever. Words cant describe it. Just do it!!

Our driver Jamie, who has been doing the job for 20 years +, was absolutely fantastic! It’s a big day, but well worth the trip and Jamie made the day fly with his knowledge and “Whitty Humour”.

This was excellent from the start. We were taken from our hotel exactly as was booked transferred to the coach which was very comfortable and clean . Had panoramic views from tall windows and the see through glass roof. Marcus the guide driver was excellent. Provided excellent descriptions of places landscapes formations flora and fauna with history and scientific application The cruise too was fantastic. Milford Sound is an amazing place everyone should experience

An incredible journey to Milford Sound! The driver Pradeep was sensational, charming and delivered an amazing experience to our group, it was a long day, but so much to see and experience. A comfortable bus, plenty of stops and chances to capture this amazing part of New Zealand ?? 5 stars!

Nice trip. Both the coach and cruise were new and clean. Cowboy was humorous, polite and helpful. Told us a lot of jokes during this long trip. It rained all the way but it cleared up when we arrived. Real lucky. Spent most of the time on the deck enjoying the views and were thrilled to see some seals.

It was the most wonderful experience ever. Brad was our guide and driver. We really enjoyed his talks about the area's history and myths and stories.We will be definitely doing it again.

It was just great. Marcus was our coach guide and he was very informative. I often get motion sickness but his driving was pretty good. Milford Sound is indeed a magical place and when you get comfortable journey, you can enjoy it more. If you are planning to use coach, go with them without a doubt. Marcus has a good knowledge of the surrounding and he says in a very interesting manner. He gives enough comfort stops as well. Highly recommended

Our driver calls himself the Cowboy and the bus, his steel horse. He entertained us through much of our long bus ride to and fro with interesting facts, and also jokes, puns and quizzes that really kept the atmosphere lighthearted (he gave us good time to rest as well). With only 15 people on the tour and every one keeping to the time schedule as well as really good weather, Cowboy was able to stop a couple of times at several scenic places for us to take excellent photos! The premium bus offers good space, wifi on the bus (while there's still reception of course) and I was able to charge my phone till 99% by the end of the trip - so bring your wire and sit near the charging ports!). For best views, sit on the right. Oh and And Milford Sound is just so stunning! My friend and I spent almost the whole 1.5hrs out on the various decks to try and capture the best views. The toilet on the cruise was also clean. We didn't take the lunch (don't think it's halal), but sure looks and smells good! There's complimentary tea and coffee on board the cruise and also hot water available to cook cup instant noodles if you're slightly on a budget like me.

What a day!! From the moment we got on the bus and were treated by Ben’s brilliant stories of the local area. From the moment you reach Te Anau and move closer to Milford, the journey itself is incredibly impressive and inspiring through wonderful untouched nature. This is simply a trip that has to be taken.

Une très belle excursion ! On ne voit pas passer les 5h de route à l’aller avec les nombreux arrêts pour observer toutes les beautés de la route jusqu’à Milford Sound. Un buffet très bon (un peu d’attente pour y arriver) sur le bateau. Un spectacle à couper le souffle lors de la croisière. Seul point négatif, le chauffage dans le bus n’est pas au top. Et pas de traduction en français des commentaires (très intéressants).

I wish there were more stars to rate our experience with premium Coach, top class day. Our driver Jamie was such a great guy, he’s commentary was on point and his driving skills were on another level, I felt super comfortable in the bus around a very tricky area of road, he knows how to drive. Due to Covid, we were moved to the parent company Southern Discoveries but the offer and experience was much the same! This is great value for money! Includes Coach from Queenstown, with lots of pre-recorded commentaries and information from the great driver! Then a bfast stop at Te Anau, and with plenty of stop and photo op along the way to Milford! The skipper and crew were also great and picnic lunch included which is more than enough for the 2hr sailing! All staff were very informative and in high spirit despite of the impact of Covid to their business. Hopefully those in NZ will try this adventure, it’s our time to explore this beautiful country! We went on you trip on a lovely sunny day. Yes it is a long day but there were plenty of stops on way there and a quick journey back. Have been before but this trip was more enjoyable. So sad that the weather has prevented others from seeing this beautiful place for a while. Hope the road can be repaired quickly.

We were blessed with the highly coveted 'blue day' which was just very good luck. The tour and our driver were not just luck though. Everything was perfect, from communication pre tour, to the carefully selected photo opportunities and scenic stops en route. Our driver, Cowboy, aka Jason was brilliant, with extensive knowledge, warm and generous commentary and superb driving skills, making this day magical & unforgettable.

It was a very looong day but really worth it! Pradeep (coach driver) was approachable and knowledgable. He made jokes so the ride wasn’t boring. We upgraded our picnic lunch to buffet lunch and it didn’t disappoint! Though it was raining during the cruise, we still enjoyed.

There were only 3 passengers on my tour, but thanks to Cowboy we had a fun filled, adventurous and awesome day. We were able to enjoy a few extra stops, and still stay ahead of the "opposition", lol. He is simply superb at his job, yes, even with the terrible puns, haha. Very informative in every aspect, and a great storyteller. The boat cruise wasn't quite as exciting as I'd hoped, but it was still beautiful, and the bus ride more than made up for it! Would definitely recommend this tour to friends, so much breathtaking scenery in one day, and too many photo opportunities.

A great experience comfortable clean coach with very good driver guide. So enjoyed the history shared as we made the journey down and great drop off points. The cruise was amazing shame it went so fast the packed lunch was more than plentiful and I washed it down with a glass of wine on board. Instead of getting the coach back my driver kindly introduced me to one of the pilots and as it was a perfect day I flew back

Our driver was so welcoming and knowledgeable. Over the day there were stops at strategic places where we could have a break or take photos. The whole day was a success and I would recommend 'The Cowboy' (our driver) to everybody. Thank you!

What a magical day spent among NZ nature. We were lucky enough to see Kea and even fur seals. The driver was so friendly and informative however was a little heavy on the brakes. The cruise was spectacular and the waterfalls magnificent....thank you for a wonderful experience
