I was super excited to find a place taking kids as young as 5 rafting, which is something I love to do. It was the first time for my daughters (5 and 7) and it was the perfect level for them, easy rapids but with splashing and excitement. Our guide Ty was great, we did lots of swimming and jumping from cliffs at the end.

Awesome experience.Needs more energy and skill. Love it. Such wonderful guides. More water makes more easier and level 3 experience.

One of the best tours any Lord of the Rings fan should take, period! Our tour guide, James, had an unparalleled knowledge of The Lord of the Rings, and it was incredible to see how the trilogy was filmed — right here in Wellington. 10/10 would do the tour again. Highly recommended!

We were stoked to be able to bike despite a cold damp day. Our bikes were ready and shuttle on time. David loaded our bikes while we finished lunch. Nice and chatty, great directions and info given to us and great bikes. We will be back.

The adventure trails were do-able although it does get really challenging at stage5. We made it to 5 and man, sure did it feel like a whole body workout. I appreciate that the crews were encouraging and attentive, always looking out for us and advising us on hows the best way to pass the stage. Mostly kids and think we were the only ovegrown kids on a Monday. Surely you gotta do it when you visit Wellington! Totally worth the money!

Adrenaline forest is a fantastic confidence boost. My girls left feeling like they could conquer the world. Even tho it was a wet day they still enjoyed it. The staff were great. Hubby and I are thinking about giving it a go now.

Nice fun course, It has been well maintained the pirate ship is the big stand out. It had a fun atmosphere there with music playing on speaker. A great summer activity.

It was a great stay at Kapiti Island. I saw many birds and it was very relaxing at the island.

I enjoyed the tour. The guide was really nice. The main trail was in excellent condition. I liked the tower at the summit. Some of the birds were very friendly.

Excellent trip!!! The guides are really passionate about their work and gave a great introduction talk to Kapiti Island and conservation work. They recommended tracks and places to spot bird life. Great experience!!!

The ferry team were friendly and our guide Emma gave a very engaging and informative talk as soon as we landed on Kapiti Island. The trails are teeming with bird life and I very quickly spotted robin, tieke, and even a kokako. The view at the summit was impressive. Next time I would be keen to visit the North End!

Spent the day on Kapiti Island. Got some fascinating history from the staff there. Went off for a very enjoyable exploration. The lagoon and lookout were highlights. Highly recommended.

Our family of 5 throughly enjoyed our visit to Kapiti Island. Our boys loved the huge tractor that pushed the boat to the water and the fast trip to the Island! The guide was very knowledgeable and we appreciated learning about all the different kinds of birds we would encounter. We especially loved the cheeky Kaka bird that tried to steal our picnic lunch. An unforgettable day. Thank you team :)

We had a great ferry trip both ways. Which was easy to get on and off . We were very lucky with the weather as it had been a gale the night before. Our guide on the Island gave us an interesting and entertaining talk about the Island and it’s history. We walked on a zig zag path up the well maintained Wilkinson track. There was lots of bird life and views along the way. 2/3rds of the way up there was a great stop at the bird feeding station. At the top was a wonderful view of the coast. We had ordered a pack lunch which considered of a delicious ham wrap, monster muffin, fruit and a muesli bar. Throughly worth it. Really glad we had good walking shoes as the track is steep going up and down. We totally recommend this trip to anyone with reasonable fitness.

Amazing activity. Highly recomended. The area is windy but that is not a problem with an EBike

I Hired an EBike from Pencarrow with my 10 year old daughter and we both had soo much fun! The Staff were really friendly and explained everything to us and it was simple as anything. I would absolutely recommend it to everyone and we will absolutely be back to do it again.
