We loved our experience of Milford Sound. All of the employees through the company and onboard the vessel were very friendly and organized. We saw dolphins and a baby seal! The complimentary tea and email instructions were helpful and clear.
The boats are pretty full and everyone is clamoring for a good spot at the beginning. I’d recommend standing at the front of the boat for the best view. We sat down on the top level and people pushed by and blocked our view so we had to move around a bit. By the end there were plenty of spaces to see the scenery.
If you sign up for the first cruise of the day and are staying in Te Anau, be mindful that you will likely need to wake up at 4:30/5 to arrive at the suggested time.
