I had the most of the best experience in my life! And I’m so lucky the weather is super fine which made the gliding even more awesome! The pilot is so informative and fun and we did the ‘competition end’ which is so thrilling and amazing as I love adrenaline rush. She also let me take control of the glider, and that is something I will never forget! Thank you glide-Omarama, really an experience of a lifetime!

Omarama glider flight was an amazing experience. One off the bucket list birthday gift for my partner. She was overwhelmed by the feeling of glider flying and it was the best thing she had ever done. Omarama great location amongst the mountains and lakes of the Mackenzie basin and they have the best weather conditions to fly. The pilot was enthusiastic and professional company. Thanks for making a dream come true.

Such a great experience for my 11 year old son. The glider pilot sabrina gave a exception pre flight run down. From that experience my son wants to be a glider pilot. He has now joined youth glide

I had an excellent deal here on bookme. My Swedish pilot was great company, entertaining, professional and let me steer the glider for a couple of minutes. We even made a couple of loops! Highly recommended.

Worth every dollar. Omarama os one of the best spots in the world for gliding, so for a forst tome experience it was incredible.Skilled pilots, amazing views and even a chance to feel the glider yourself. Recommend!

We were 2 friends flying the same day. We were able to fly in the same time which is really cool! I enjoyed very much the views and the thrills! The flight lasted a bit longer than 30mns and I did some aerobatics (not mandatory but really fun!). My pilot was friendly, explained me everything! On the other hand, my friend got sick because of turning a lot above the mountain and her pilot was not as friendly, and didn't offer her to pilot or anything. I recommend this to do something different and to see NZ from above. Totally worth it with bookme price and good weather!

My Husband is obsessed with LOTR so we we had to book to visit The Pelennor Fields! We were not disappointed & both really got a lot out of the day - we thoroughly enjoyed it! Our guide had only been in his job for 2 weeks (in Nov 2017) but this was not noticeable as he had so much knowledge and really added to the experience. The extra activities that I didn't expect such as getting to see props from the films and really getting an understanding of how so much was filmed in one location, truly made the tour. I could not recommend this tour enough to fans of LOTR and even those who just have an interest in film making.

Yes, it's a tour of a field! However Dawn provided us with lots of information and anecdotes about the filming of the battle, as well as some filming tips. We also had the opportunity to hold replica swords and flags for photographs. Would recommend to any LOTR fan!

Firstly Dawn, the lady that runs the tour, is absolutely amazing. It’s great to go around with someone who has such a genuine passion for what she is talking about and has actually had first hand experience of it all and personal stories too! It’s a great tour for anyone who loves the films and even if you haven’t it’s great to hear about the film set and the problems they had to overcome etc! In total, a great tour with an even better lady! =]
