A great way to spend the day. Started with Hot Water Beach, then a bit of walk to Cathedral Cove, ending with a hike up Mt Paku for the views. Be ready with some drinking water. The experience was made even better by our awesome guide and driver, Clay.

Everyone should do this day trip with Clay. So chill and personable, knowledgeable about the areas you visit and a good laugh. The trip itself is breathtaking and you get to see a lot of natural beauty. Highly recommend.

My friend and I had a lovely day out on this tour. We are both in our mid 60s, fit and active, love adventures and meeting nice people. This tour fulfilled exactly what was described in the itinerary, there was flexibility and the driver was an absolute star. There were plenty of stops for refreshments (not provided) and bathroom breaks. There were 7 of us (including the driver) from 6 different countries so we had an interesting conversations also. By the end of the day some of us had exchanged details so that we can stay in touch. I recommend this tour.

It was such a nice day with Clay who showed us around throughout the day. The weather was also great and we enjoyed a lot, especially digging hot water in hot water beach. It was a fantastic experience!! Clay is a very funny and thoughtful guide, and very friendly. I really recommend the day tour to everyone.

We had a fabulous time with Adam and Ella! They knew everything about anything! We got up close to cathedral cove as well! The stunning views and breath taking beaches! We went right inside a cave and saw some beautiful fish. We also had the chance to go snorkeling to see some Red Snapper up close!! Such an amazing tour!

Excellent experience end-to-end. Have already recommended company + trip to others. Loved being able to move around bow to stern…or stay inside in very comfy seats if wished. Toilet onboard a bonus & great for a quick change after snorkelling (optional but I recommend…appreciated that life jackets are freely offered to make your floating easier & which I + others took up)

Well paced informative tour of the marine reserve ( incl Cathedral cove) with time for swimming / snorkelling. Local guides who know their stuff. Warm shower onboard to rinse off after swimming followed by hot chocolate. What more could you ask for? Highly recommended.

Wonderful tour! Tour guide very informative and giving much knowledge about local Island and history. We also served with Kawakawa Tea (Maori medical herb) and rest on an island. We were so lucky to met with such a beautiful sunset, calm sea and got a chance to see an eagle ray jumping out just beside out kayak! Overall experience is superb. 👌 5 star

When we got there we were told we were not able to kayaking into donut island due to large swells. Was given the option to reschedule but decided to go anyway as we were leaving the next day. Everyone else on the tour postponed so we got upgraded to a private tour! My fiancé and I had an amazing time, and was even offered to go into donut island once we got out there. But we decided against it as the swells around the back of the island were a bit too big for our us. Definitely worth giving this a go.

Such a wonder kayak trip to the Donut Island. Our guide Fransico is so professional and friendly, sharing with us the brief history of these beautiful islands and the respectful way to treat the reserve as expected by the local iwi. Would highly recommend this company and this experience. My family and my boys really enjoy it. Thank you team.

An amazing catamaran experience, thankfully a gorgeous, bright summer day, calm waters with just the right amount of breeze and a very cool crew of 2, Jordy and Sam. Both were excellent communicators, friendly, fun, kind, knowledgeable about the area and skilful and attentive when managing on deck changes, sails, safety and in water fun like snorkelling. Shortly after sailing we were offered refreshments, later home baked date loaf, then after snorkelling delicious fresh fruit platter. The timing for each course was perfect and nothing was a big deal. The length of the cruise was excellent value for spend, comfortable bean bags and just being able to laze across the multihull nets, while soaking up the whole experience was amazing. We would absolutely recommend the experience and will definitely be enjoying it ourselves again. Thank you Jordy, Sam & owner Mat.

I loved the fact there were bean bags to sit on which was a very comfy way to travel! And that you could enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine or a beer. Also there were blankets for when it turned cold and wet which it did on the return journey. I really enjoyed being able to relax and enjoy the beautiful coastline and to swim with so many fish around me! The skipper Matt wasn't very communicative bout was nice enough. The other sailer, Sam, she was great to chat to. Definately would recommend.

We picked a beautiful day so the weather was on our side. Until the return trip when the wind picked up which made it difficult and loooooong to return (the joys of sailing). Met on the beach and got taken out to the boat in a small inflatable. There was only 6 of us (holds 14) so we had plenty of space on the boat. Was lovely just sitting on the nets in very comfortable beanbags. Two crew who were super friendly and gave us just enough commentary about the boat and trip itself. We stopped for a swim at the nature reserve and the snapper were HUGE. Wish we also stopped at cathedral cove but it was just a slow sail by. We were offered coffee, tea, juice and a baked treat. We did the morning cruise so were back in time for lunch at one of the waterfront cafes. We had a great day on the water :)

Thanks to Chris and his team for an absolutely amazing trip out and around Whitianga. The boat and facilities were amazing, loved the commentary about the local landmarks and history. We had a great time on the sea cave adventure. Ash really knew the history of the area and ask the best spots. The boat was able to get into the caves where the bigger boats couldn't go.

Highly recommended!!! We found it due to the Cathedral track closed. It saved our time and energy. Ash brought us to see a lot of caves and fish. It’s so amazing!
