Lake Matheson is a true natural beauty and I'm so glad I visited it through the eco tour. We were a small group of three people and our guide, Rose, was just great! She gave us so many information about the plants and creatures living in the surroundings and was very prepared to answer all our questions. Plus the hot chocolate and cookies in front of the lake was the best way to enjoy the amazing view. I would definitely recommend this trip! :)

Weather is perfect. If you went on summer, do not wear too much, a T shirt is fine. They will provide you jacket and pants. It’s gonna be so hot when you start walking!!

We had a great day exploring the glaciers. The staff were really helpful. We weren't sure whether to do the 2 heli flights with one 10 min landing or the heli hike. We're so glad we chose the heli hike as it was definitely worth it!

From the moment we walked into our safety briefing and were given appropriate clothing our concerns faded and excitement built. Sherpa was an amazing guide with plenty of stories, wicked sense of humour, experience and we felt safe in his hands. We'd never been in a helicopter, let alone on a Glacier. We were truly humbled by nature and the experience. The girls back in the office/shop were so caring for the next group to fly up. With the bad weather moving in and another company cancelling the groups helihike the night before all these wonderful women wanted was for them to have some time on the ice and have that experience. Bravo 👏 👏 what an amazing team you have

We had such a great time. It was well organized and we felt completely safe the entire time. The helicopter flights were quick, but very cool. Our guide was very knowledgeable and fun. We got to explore ice caves and crevasses which were super cool. The company will provide you with proper boots, mitts, socks (all clean), rain jacket and cramp ons. These are included in your tour cost.

We booked at 3PM but the staff allowed us to join 1PM flight then they could fulfill the flight capacity and we did not have risk from 3PM flight cancellation on unmet minimum flight capacity. While I was there, they allowed only to fly from Fox. There was no flight from Franz Josep anymore so I needed to change my plan to Fox earlier to catch the flight even I booked Franz Josep. Stunning view during the flight for both Glaciers in departure and returning. The snow landing on Mt Cook was magnificent. we landed on fresh snow with clear blue sky. 10 minutes there was worth.

A must do in NZ whether your visiting or a local like us ! We are so happy with our experience amazing views everywhere you look. This experience is weather dependent and if they fill the flight so I recommend staying in Franz Josef or fox glacier.

Land on the top of the mountain to enjoy the amazing view. Really a fantastic experience, must try and you will not regret, is worth!

Went down to the Fox Glacier office in the afternoon before our scheduled flight the next day, and was offered a flight right away. So up we went for a amazing flight up the Fox Glacier and right around Mt. Cook, because the cloud was down over Franz Josef. It was great the we could go a day early and modify the flight to suit conditions. We all really enjoyed the flight and commentary. Poured the next day with no flights

First time ever in a helicopter, and it was amazing! We had a small 5 person helicopter, and it was so agile. We also had a perfect day for this acitivity, which is the highlight of our NZ visit

Staff very friendly and lots of knowledge. We had a stunning Bluebird day. Was my first time in a helicopter and a breathtaking experience, the views were stunning, landing on the glacier was amazing. Definitely recommended.

Staff very friendly, short ride from office to the heli pad, beautiful flight up to the glacier and more time on the glacier than anticipated. No other heli near us so it felt like un-touched and pristine landscape. Absolutely one of the best experiences of a life time! A must do for any travelers or Kiwis!

An unreal experience that allowed us to see the glacier from a different perspective! Our second time doing this and it was just as incredible as the first time round! We recommend this to all our friends that travel to New Zealand. As the pilots say, if you can fly - fly, because you could travel to the West Coast 100 times and never get the chance due to weather. Make the most of the opportunity if it’s there!

This was our first time in a helicopter so it was fun but scary! The scenery above the mountain range was incredible and there was about six inches of fresh snow on the glacier when we landed. The time slot we had booked for was not flying because of the weather but the tour company simply moved us to a later slot on the afternoon and thankfully the weather had cleared by then! This is a great tour for people who want the glacier experience without spending hours tramping over the ice.

This has been one of the most amazing experiences. From Kaitlyn (ground support) to Clark (Pilot) ,they were enthusiastic, genuinely helpful individuals who ensured our flight was safe, informative, and fun. Clark certainly made us feel special and landed us on fresh, untouched snow. Thanks for the unforgettable flight
