Super fun, value for money, racing and faster karts than you think!

Food was average. Entrees and salad was good. Definitely recommend ordering the entrees, especially the chicken and squid rings.

Great food for very reasonable prices. Recommend getting a few dishes and sharing, our favourite was the Saigon Spring rolls, Very friendly, accommodating staff, highly recommended

The 2 guides were awesome. I really liked the second part where it was for 2 hours and we went to the overlook of the city and then the beach. Andre had lots of good information and was knowledgeable in many different things. He also answered any questions we had and made some recommendations about other activities to do and which restaurants and coffee shops he thought were best. I would highly recommend this for anyone who wants to get a view of the city and the area around it.

Had the chicken parm and Panna Cotta. Both very well done. Duck fat potatoes were the best potatoes I've had in a long long time!

Loved the food, amazing service, just a perfect atmosphere for my boyfriend and I to have a nice dinner together. Also didn't make me feel bad for getting a discount coupon which a lot of other places do when I've used grabone etc. Will definitely come back.

Our server was so nice and went out of her way ro make our dining experience an excellent one. Everything was soooo delicious, from starts to mains and through to desserts. The Tiramisu was to die for! We will surely be back. Thanks so much for an awesome deal too!

Really good value with entree and main meal from book me. We had the prawn and pea risotto & fried chicken for entree and the herb crusted cod and eye fillet for main. Cooked well and excellent service. Thank you.

We are a family of three and had a great time at Retropolitan Restaurant. The decoration, lighting, and music created a very relaxed and nostalgic atmosphere. The place has a strong vintage vibe, with lots of suitcases and old objects used as decorations. The staff was very warm and welcoming, which made the experience even better. We ordered the Surf and Turf, Garlic Chicken Penne Pasta, and the Mega Meaty Goodness Pizza. The portions were very generous. The steak was cooked perfectly at medium rare. Our child especially loved the rich, cheesy pasta and the pizza, the crispy pork on top was surprisingly delicious and worked really well! We were so full and satisfied that the three of us could only manage to share one dessert. We chose the Pot Brownie, which had a rich chocolate flavor and was absolutely delicious. Overall, a wonderful dining experience. We’ll definitely be back!

The restaurant was quite dim which provided a rather good vibe for individual dining or fine dining in a small group. The waitress was very friendly as well which made the experience even better. The food was not mind-blowing but was delicious. Would come back again if I'm wanting something fancy.

Cant say a bad word about the food we had. It was magic after being in Lockdown! The Venison meal we both had was perfection as were the desserts. Different flavours from the normal run of the mill restaurants which takes their food to next level. We always feel we are eating MasterChef meals here, which we love. Totally recommend!

We can’t fault food at Soul Quarter as everytime we go the food is amazing. The flavours are incredible and food cooked to perfection. It’s a real treat each time we dine there. Kudos to the chefs! 👍🏻

Great Tapas and friendly staff,will go again,only downside it was a challenge to locate on Google maps but worth the scavenger hunt for it.

Once again we lunched at our favourite restaurant. Always a great meal. I had the tongue again and husband had the lamb rump. Delicious!

NZ ANGUS BEEF BURGER - well, it's big, so yummy & that burger the thickest yet! Also had the Chicken pieces with waffles - such a delicious dish with Soul's special syrup... excellent service & value.

A cosy, quirky interior, fantastic service and the food was absolutely amazing. Would 100% recommend.

Cookai is the best sushi train I’ve had in Christchurch. The service and atmosphere are warm and welcoming, and parking is easy at The Crossing car park—just remember to ask for the free two-hour parking ticket when you pay. The sashimi boat was fresh and absolutely delicious, offering great value. The teriyaki salmon don and unagi don were also excellent. There’s a wide variety of sushi to choose from as well. This was our second visit to Cookai, and we will definitely be back. Highly recommended.
