The staff were so friendly, and the tour was one of our favourite parts of our trip, it was a beautiful day. Recommend wearing warm clothes though as it does get cold biking in the wind! The meal we got after was delicious too, beautiful wine 🍷
Fantastic way to see the landscape. Great biking. Amazing views. Everything was great thankyou.
Awesome scenic day tour! Probably the best decision I’ve made this trip! The driver was friendly, knowledgeable and funny! I was the only passenger on board today! Been to so many beautiful stops, even the bra fence! Stopped over for hot chocolate at Cromwell and ginger beer at Cardrona hotel. It was such a beautiful day out! Would definitely recommend for those who don’t want to drive but love to see different spots! Thank you:)
The vineyard itself was amazing, I had never been in a wine cave which got me a little buzz from the alcoholic gases. The tour was extremely informative and I enjoyed the small tasting that was included. The adorable cheese shop is a must, I never knew I liked blue cheese until they had me try a very hardened type! Great experience, highly recommend go any wine enthusiast. The complimentary transport was a great extra as well!
Had a great day at Gibbston Valley. It seemed like a private tour for it was just the 3 of us. We learned a few things like what are the different colors and different kinds of grapes for different types of wine. It was a good experience. The wines we tasted were great and smooth! Highly recommended when you are in Queenstown!
Perfect blue sky day to cycle the vineyards. Amazing lunch platter at Gibbston Vineyard with great kids menu too. Then onto Peregrine, Gibbston Tavern and Rockwell vineyard tasting. We called it a day there but without kids would probably have done the first 10km much faster and made it to nearly every one. Great hosts/drivers there and back. Would highly recommend
This was one of the highlights of our recent year trip to Queenstown. Biking from Gibbston Valley to Arrowtown (and back) is doable even for novice riders. You will enjoy the beautiful landscape along the way, dotted with exciting bridge and tunnel crossings. The upgrade to an e-bike was definitely worth it as there were some uphill climbs to manoeuvre. Ronan, of the Gibbston Valley Bike Centre, was awesome and a pleasure to deal with. We ended our ride with a lovely lunch at the Gibbston Valley Winery Restaurant. The food and wine were excellent. We had the option to continue biking through the different vineyards and wineries in the Gibbston Valley after lunch but we skipped that as we already did some wine tastings the day before. Overall, this was a great experience for us and making the trip to Gibbston Valley was a terrific start to our Queenstown holiday.
We went at the start of October and had the rare occasion of snow in the valley. Even so we decided to go to the Winery with the hopes of it clearing up. The team were so accommodating to us, changing our times and adding tour of the wine cave for the morning. Much appreciated the service we received. Would definitely come back again! Ebikes were also great, well maintained and easy to use. The track was also super cruise but great and the view of the valley was just breath taking. Thanks team for a fantastic addition to our honeymoon. 💖
Had such a great day riding from Gibbston Valley to Arrowtown, the scenery is fantastic and bikes went well. There were all levels and ages of people on the track, so really doable. The staff at the restaurant were outstanding especially Bronson, our waiter. He was super friendly and very knowledgeable. The food was very yummy and the restaurant dog was a treat too. Very good value and would do again.
We loved our afternoon wine trip, wish we had done the full day, super organized and the drivers were so helpful and good fun. We would highly recommend this trip for any wine lovers. And no sober driver required as they have that all covered. :)
Fantastic customer service. Fabulous wine.Amazing scenery.Great time had.
Excellent Informative tour guide with opportunity for question answer time. Added bonus to visit wine cellar and sample some of the wines big plus. Pinot noir very good
Really great trip. Good explanation of bikes and the trail. We were given 2 maps (1 for the general trails and 1 for the wineries). Recommend upgrading to the electric bike. It is doable on a regular bike but hills are definitely easier with e bike (especially after a glass of wine). Made it round 3 vineyards. Peregrine was my favourite wine and Kinross did the best tasting (very informative). Great that the wine is collected for you at the end of the day rather than carrying it round. They were good enough to drop me at lake Hayes on the way back. Only improvement would be bells on the bike (shared trails). Highly recommend this trip.
Very informative little tour. Our tour guide Bindi was amazing, she definitely knows her stuff and taught us so much. She was fun and bubbly yet informative and interesting. Would highly recommended!
the tour was very interesting and the guide was very nice. The wine was delicious! We really enjoy it!
It’s an awesome place and unforgettable tour. We took the full tour. Emily is a friendly guide, she explained everything in detail and we tested 5 premium wines. Should give this a try if you are in Queenstown or Wanaka.
This was not part of our itinerary but on our way back from Milford Sound, out driver and tour guide mentioned about this tour so I checked it out and booked. We were surprised as we enjoyed it a lot! We’ve been to a lot of wine tasting but this wine tour is truly informative being given by a sommelier! Alex did a great job of answering all our questions and we had great fun as it was only four of us in the group so it feels very special! The wine cave looks spectacular! And the wines are really good! Thank you Book Me and Gibbston Valley (especially to Alex) for this beautiful experience!
Absolute must do if going to Queenstown. Best wine tour iv ever done. The cave is so impressive and the wine paddles are so informative and brilliant. I’ll definitely be back!
This was one of the highlights of our stay. The person who took us through was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. We had a few as well. Took photos of us to capture the moment. The great deals they offers are not pushed down your throat but the value makes sense as to why you should do it. Staff were amazing wine was wonderful. Looking forward to going back again and again. Thank you
The tour guide was awesome, friendly with a sense of humour and so know his stuff! I recommend this for true wine lovers as it’s very informative awesome experience and the wine cave was the icing with wine tasting in that authentic environment!
Really enjoyed this tour. What a great opportunity to see the wine-making process including different types of soil and grapes, fermentation and the aging process. Fantastic learning session on how to match wine with food.
Very informative! You should try it when visiting Queenstown!!
Great tour! Thoroughly enjoyed :)
Great tour unfortunately had to shoot off for next activity
Took my kids along for this activity to give them a healthly dose of fear/adrenaline/excitement/self-confidence! They both pulled it off and it is something we will remember forever! Amazing views over Queenstown once the swing begins. Definitely recommend!
