Although the place is slightly far away from my home but I book the court weekly to play with my sons. The courts are clean, staff is very cooperative and no waiting time…
I have heard about Squash but never experienced. I moved to Auckland in April this year and thought to play new game. Hence we booked squash session for weekend for $6 for 45 minutes. We reached on time. I got the court immediately they provided 2 racquets and ball. And we started. There are around 6-7 courts and all were full. The racquet and ball quality was good. We really enjoyed the game. We will surely book sessions again.
Excellent value & facilities, easy to locate with plenty of parking. Great experience & fun for all ages - they quickly picked up the game & keen to go again Plenty seating area to watch play. Sophie from National Squash Centre was very helpful to deal with!
Worth the value!
Awesome family outing, friendly, helpful staff. Great selection of jumping fun….. especially dodge ball🤣
All of us enjoyed the time
So fun! Friendly customer service. Very clean premises.
Must try with kids.
It’s quite good. Experience Staff so nice. The venue is very comfortable.
Kids absolutely loved it will recommend to all and we will be visiting again soon
The staff were very helpful and friendly. The kids really enjoyed seeing all the different animals. My daughter loved taking photos of all the animals. She really enjoyed the meerkats and all the African animals.
Enjoyed a great day at Auckland Zoo. Last full day in Auckland and we were looking for something pretty easy to do after almost 2 weeks of breathtaking scenery and activities. Our family always loves a good zoo so we thought we would give it a go. Great to get the $24 rate through bookme.com rather than the tourist price, saving us $36 in total. Well set out zoo with my favourite area being the African Safari area with the giraffes, zebras and ostrich roaming around. It was easy to get around and there were a great range of animals. Lots of locals visiting which was good to see - support for their zoo and their conservation programs. Even visited the Vet Hospital and whilst there were thankfully no animals in there it was interesting to see the set up. We were lucky to see Burma the elephant having her health check being done and watched her eat her breakfast, tearing into the cane palm. And to top it off to see a Kiwi running about in the darkened enclosure was a thrill. Great day out!
The staff and volunteers were soo lovely and kind. I loved how they made most of the areas one way. It made sense. I'm really looking forward to the the inclosures. I can't wait to come back again 😊😊
We go to the Zoo Pretty frequently, so this time booked in on a weekday afternoon, about two hours from closing. This was a perfect choice! Carpark was deserted, all the animals were out, and active - it felt like we had the whole zoo to ourselves! My son loved it. Despite being so close to closing, the staff were all extra friendly and attentive. Wholeheartedly recommend.
Great value for young and old!
The zoo's design has been thoughftully planned and is visually pleasing. I think all the animal enclosures were for the welfare of the animal, with places to hide if so desired, as well as areas where you could view them. A highlight was sitting "next to" a cheetah as it lounged beside a glass barrier in the wet weather. It was wonderful to be so close to an animal, knowing it wasn't drugged or being forced to do something against its will. We spoke to a couple of keepers and were blown away by their friendliness and vast knowledge of not just their own animals but of the natives and conservation issues and programs beyond the zoo.
Highly recommend!! Such an awesome experience for the whole family to enjoy - especially the little ones ☺️. Volunteers there were amazing & soo friendly. We cannot wait to come back again. Thank you!
Beaitiful enclosures, glad we went in the morning as it became increasingly busier around lunch time. Thank goodness the photos that were taken by photographers upon entry were not mandatory or part of the ticket price (they cost $39.95!). Need more than two hours if you wish to explore the whole zoo however whilst taking photos and reading display placards. Loved the experience overall and highly recommend to everyone.
Kids had the best day exploring the zoo. Didn’t enjoy driving in circles for an hour looking for a carpark but it ended up being a great day. Wish they sold cold water tho. Was hard finding something that wasn’t sparkly water. The water fountains were all warm water. But was still a good day
Great zoo, lots of animals, we were a group of 4 adults and really enjoyed our visit
Friendly staff, clean spacious and interesting animal habitats. Easy map to follow. Food really expensive so bring your own. Will definitely be going back more often.
The Zoo is a great place to visit, on a nice day :), as I got caught in a Torrential Downpour in there once and had to leave rather quickly to escape. The exhibits are very well accessible to the Public and very well set out. :) Also the alterations/improvements that the Zoo are making only enhance your great experience even more Would absolutely recommend this place when visiting Auckland, 5 Stars :)
I'm very amazed 😍,and I like to come back again the zoo is very clean and the staff is friendly,I will recommend this to all friends.
we really enjoy it
Great place to spend a day Great staff who are only to happy to talk about animals and their habitat and what we can do to improve their longevity answering lots of questions with enthusiasm and passion about their work Very clean and easy walking for those with reduced mobility or prams Great viewing of the animals in their enclosures THANK YOU for a great day we will be back again
Great Zoo has friendly staff Nice playground for children and a lot of places to sit and have lunch
Had a great experience watching Siamang playing swinging around on the cable across the cafe. Love to see the animals playing which reminding me to happiness can be simply enjoying what we have in life
I like this place very much! I can feel that every animal here is very comfortable, and the staff are warm-hearted, ready to explain and lead us, I love this place!
I went with my 4yr old son who is Cheater obsessed and my 2yr old who just wanted to see Giraffes. We got to see every animal. The birds we so happy to see people! The Kereru just sitting on a brance where you could touch him! A photographers dream. We entered at 11.30 and left at 2.30pm, plenty of time to wear out the kids.
Fantastic!! Had great time connecting to the nature and love the addition of new cafe and south east asia. Will be back when they are fully operating.
A well mantained and managed zoo. Children and disabled friendly. Variety of flora and fauna. A great place to spend the day with family.
