Regular passenger ferry services on the Bay Belle ferry service operated by Great Sights Bay of Islands. Ferry crossings take approximately 15 minutes. Transfer tickets and information will be sent to you by the operator once they have received your booking.
Drop-off at Waitangi available on request (10am & 3pm sailings from Russell only)

Just long enough. I think people should be told it is an old tugboat, no luxuries. Interesting commentary. Loved seeing all the palatial, isolated homes. Thank you

THIS IS A MUST DO !
I have visited the Bay of Islands 8 times, and I have always been turned off by the big tour companies, the crowds of people, the large boats, and the high prices. Well, this time I had the pleasure to go out on the Albatross, a smaller boat with no crowds, with a very reasonable (much lower) price. The owner was actually in charge of the tour, and his first mate and he did a most professional and entertaining job. It is my pleasure to recommend this tour to all ! Thank you.

A relaxing tour and a kindly atmosphere
I would definitely do this tour again! The 2.5 hours are absolutely enough to see the bay of island, except you also want to visit some of them. We were lucky and also saw a lot of dolphins. The tour guides are very friendly and funny guys and they could tell us a lot of informative stuff!

Unfortunately cancelled on day.
I didn't see an email (although the operator had sent over early morning) stating that unfortunately our tour was cancelled. They were really apologetic and offered to accommodate our family on a different day however that was not possible but they were very prompt at contacting bookme.co.nz to get a refund issued to us. As we were already on the ferry across to Russell we spent a couple of hours there which is beautiful and hopefully on a future visit we can get on this trip.
