david camp said... It was my first time white water rafting; this experience was ideal for a first timer like me. It exceeded my expectations. Everything seemed very well run and all of the equipment was in good condition. The river ran through amazing scenery (although I guess that comes as standard in the NZ countryside!). We were on the water for between an hour and an a hour and a half in which we were taught the basics of rafting, rode 4 or 5 good stretches of white water, did some cliff jumping and swam in the cool blue water. The only small grumble I had was that the video/photo package from the camera mounted on the front of the boat was priced at NZ$59 - relative to the cost of the 4.5 hour experience, that seemed very expensive (hence I have no photo of the experience i can upload as part of my review).
