Beautiful Area
Wairakei Terraces & Thermal Pools, well worth a visit, a perfect end to a lovely evening, four pools with varying tempertures to enjoy and relax in.

Wairakei Hot Pools
Great pools...love it how you can move to get the temperature you're after within the same pool, thanks to the hot waterfall(s)

Nice walk
It was a nice walk. Has the potential of being a great walk if it was a guided tour. Which you can get also. It takes about 15mins to walk right round it. They are man made. Recommend doing it at the same time as doing the swim. Rather than 2 separate experiences.

Great place to visit
We have visited the wairakei terraces on several occasions and have never been disappointed. It is a fantastic place to go if you want to soak in the warm water. Wairakei terraces have different pools at different temperatures so if you want to soak in really hot or if you just like bath temperature there is something for everyone. The pools are also large so they don't feel overcrowded even when it is busy. Highly recommend
