Simply the best hot pools
Wairakei are simply stunning. The water cascades through a series of pools of varying temperatures and sizes. The water is silky smooth and low in sulfur, leaving you refreshed and relieved of aches and pains. There is usually a quiet and relaxed atmosphere, only occasionally on weekends or public holidays can you find big groups and loud conversation so plan accordingly if you're seeking a zen experience. This is our favourite hot pool in the whole country and go as often as we can, you will love it!
