After being supplied (if needed) with a full length spray jacket, life jacket, yellow tinted plastic glasses (to make it easier for one to see easily when travelling at speed) and gloves.
We set off at a leisurely pace (for enhanced scenery viewing of the trip along the Waikato River) with our driver Cam to the Orakei Korako geothermal park. Cam enthusiastically pointed out various points of interest along the way.
After spending an hour or so viewing the Orakei Korako geothermal park we re-boarded the jet boat for the thrill part of the trip which lived up to all expectations.
Thanks to the friendly staff it was very enjoyable event which is highly recommended.
