Taupo DeBretts Hot Springs & Water Park - Entry

Posted by Raye from New Zealand on 6 Mar 2021
Raye said... The staff working at both the hot pools and at the cafe were just lovely. Very friendly and willing to help. The facilities are pretty clean. The water is natural mineral hot springs (so healing!) and it gets completely drained and freshly refilled daily. That's excellent! I loved that you could have your own private hot pool too if wanted (included in price). Your ticket lasts all day from your moment of entry, so you can come and go as you please. I would recommend stopping in at the little cafe they have on site. Big kiwi breakfast was delicious, as was the chocolate muffin with cream on top :) Overall= great place, nice people, 10/10, A++, would come again. :D PS. One suggestion I do have is to please clear your shower heads! The water squirts out all wonky in some of them. Likely just natural mineral or lime scale build up, this can easily be remedied by something as simple as soaking the shower heads in white vinegar for 30 mins or so.
