Don’t miss this opportunity to delve into a day packed with stunning coastline views, an energizing hike through native New Zealand landscape and an afternoon spent lounging along the beautiful Coromandel.

Departing Auckland CBD, we set out on a 2-hour scenic drive to Tairua, a small surfing town within the Coromandel. The journey proceeds on foot on a 15-minute hike to the summit of Mt. Paku, a small volcano with exceptional views of the Coromandel coastline. Hike for a further 1.5-hours to the stunning Cathedral Cove, passing other coves along the way.

Once you’ve reached Cathedral Cove you can relax, perhaps with a picnic and a swim or a visit to one of the local cafes, at your own expense. If the tide is right, enjoy a lovely soak in the amazing natural hot pools at Hot Water Beach before we return back to Auckland around 7pm.
