Discover what it’s like to breathe under water with a PADI Discover Scuba Diving program brought to you by Waiheke Dive & Snorkel!

This program is ideal for those who want to try SCUBA for the first time and with your PADI Instructor by your side every step of the way, you can be assured that your first dive will be safe, simple and easy.

Meet your friendly instructor at the dive shop in Oneroa and receive a thorough safety briefing and a demonstration on how all of your equipment works before setting off on your adventure.

Our program is best enjoyed in very small groups, with maximum input from your Instructor. That's why, with us, you'll never have more than 2 try divers in the water with any 1 Instructor.

In safe and shallow waters, you’ll learn some basic diving skills from your instructor, then set out together to explore the underwater world of Waiheke.

Get up close and personal to an array of marine life, see fish swimming in the water, starfish wandering over the rocks and crabs scuttling in and out of their hiding holes.

All equipment is provided, all you need to bring are your togs, a smile and a sense of adventure!

So join us for a truly memorable diving experience - but be warned, diving is a truly addictive activity and you may just turn into a bona fide scuba junkie!
