Escaping the bustle of Auckland city we head for the hills and the market gardening and artisan areas of Kumue and Huapai.

Enjoy the gently rolling countryside dotted with sheep and cattle as we head out to Muriwai for a scenic stop. This seaside settlement is famous for it's rugged and beautiful black sand beaches and swarming Gannet Colonies.

We enjoy tastings from an outstanding selection of single variety and blended wines at Matua Valley Wines. New Zealand's first producer of Sauvignon Blanc Matua Valley also produce excellent Chardonnay, Riesling, and Pinot Gris, as well as Cabernet blended reds, Syrah /Viognier and Pinot Noir.

Next we visit The House of Nobilo cellar door and indulge in award winning wines from the Nobilo, Selaks and Kim Crawford ranges

Our final visit is to Bees Online Honey Factory. Sample from their wide range of New Zealand flora honey's including Manuka, Rata, Rewarewa, and Pohutakawa. They also produce high grade UMF Organic Manuka honey world famous for it's antibiotic medicinal properties.
