This privately guided tour get's you "behind the scenes" at historic Kumeu River Wines - founded by one of New Zealand's most famous wine personalities Michael Brajkovich (New Zealand's first master of wine) Kumeu has a fantastic history and the wines to match. Notorious for producing some of New Zealand's finest Chardonnay - see how Kumeu's stunning Chardonnay's are barrel fermented and carefully crafted to maximum potential.

Moving on to The House of Nobilo cellar door we sample a range of Nobilo, Selaks, and Kim Crawford wines, before enjoying lunch at the award winning Bees Online Honey Factory Café. Here you also have the opportunity to sample the different New Zealand flora honeys and the Active UMF Manuka honeys on offer.

Next up is a scenic side trip through the country-side to visit the black sand beaches of Muriwai and the rugged West Coast.

Late in the afternoon we visit the cellar door at Matua Wines to taste a generous selection of single variety wines as well as blends. Another iconic wine producer Matua was the first in New Zealand to produce Sauvignon Blanc.
