Shred the snow by night as you hit the slopes at New Zealand's only indoor snow resort!
It’s a great price and amount of time for young kids.
My daughter loved doing a cheeky mid-week evening ski session with her friend. Such a great deal, meaning skiing isn’t out of reach for us now.
We made our reservation through Bookme for a 7 pm timeslot. We received confirmation emails from Bookme and from Snowplanet. When we arrived for our session, the person at the counter told us our booking was for 5 pm. Checking the confirmation email from Snowplanet showed that the booking was 5pm, but going back to the Bookme email, it had the correct time of 7 pm. The person at the counter made the adjustment and allowed us to proceed, no harm done. Our friends who booked the same session and met us there, however, were not so lucky. Same situation, they booked 7 pm and Snowplanet had them down for 5 pm. They arrived late, so were in a bit of a hurry, assumed the mistake was indeed theirs. They were charged $10 to adjust the reservation. I have no knowledge of what is going on behind the scenes, and clearly the possibility that these were honest mistakes exists. However this set off a pretty bright red light my scam radar. Sure they are willing enough to fix the mistake if the customer identifies it, but at the same time a scammer can rely on a certain percentage of victims to be in a hurry, be wrangling kids, or any number of distractions that leads them to pay the extra and avoid ruining their plans. I would have no suspicion if their weren't a fee for making the adjustment, even in cases where the customer is at fault. And in our friends' case, they were adjusting from what should be a higher value slot (late Sun afternoon) to a lower value slot (Sun evening). This left a bad taste in my mouth. I would urge anyone signing up to double check your reservations and I would urge Snowplanet to proactively screen for this issue, compare past records with Bookme, and proactively issue refunds to any affected parties. Even if this is not a deliberate scam, there is no justification for making customers pay for mistakes that are not their own.

Family and friends
Met our friends here. Two 7yr old, 11yr old and the dads. We had a great time. Always fun for the kids. They enjoy a hot chocolate and chips after the skiing. Staff are always great.
