Spent the afternoon lazing on the grass and swimming at Mansion House bay, after a delicious lunch at the cafe .. good menu and gluten free options.. the gf bread was a real treat. Mansion House is well worth the $4 entry fee, and do leave enough time to see it all.. suggest check the opening closing times as a few people missed out not realising it closed by 3pm. At busy times leave HEAPS of time to park at the wharf.. we went New Years Day, arrived at 9. 15 for the 10 .30 ferry and the carpark was full, closest park meant a 10 to 15 min walk back to the wharf. Next time I'll take water shoes if swimming as the beach was stony.
