To begin with, the bus journey covers a total of 650+ kms and thanks to our well informed coach driver “Rachael”, kept us occupied with him continuous commentry (really ongoing for hours) about everything we passed, kept us busy. The glow worms were surreal, some chinese fellow tourists just couldn’t keep their mouth shut, but other than that it was simply superb. Water and snacks are provided. The Mauri cultural show is lovely. If u wanna buy green stones/jade momentos, Rotarua souvenir shop is a good place to buy.
