Descend into the ancient lava flow canyon flowing down from Mt Karioi as night falls.
You will be surrounded by picturesque scenery throughout the trip, all located in hidden Raglan bush. This is a highly rated, truly magical canyoning experience.
No matter the season, we have you covered! In summer you have lighter wetsuits, in Winter you'll be just as warm in super thick insulated wetsuits.
We encounter many obstacles on our way down, from waterfalls and rock walls to large boulders and beautiful fresh water pools. Challenge yourself to climb and abseil the cascading waterfalls and navigate your way all under the light of your head torch.
Although challenging, you will be accompanied by a very experienced, passionate and personable guide who is 100% safety audit certified, making sure all adventurers feel safe and get the most out of each and every trip.
As we navigate our way downstream, we will reach the final waterfall which is home to thousands of twinkling glowworms. Cast your eyes around the rock face and revel in the magical luminescent display, before heading back to base to finish off an adventure to be remembered for a lifetime.

Fun night!
Our guide Ella was awesome and sitting by a waterfall looking at glow worms was magical. Fun trip.

Glowworm canyoning
What an absolute adventure!! From the minute we arrived at base till the very end! Our guide Stacey was amazing he made us all feel very welcome and super comfortable, as there were a few nerves!! He got us kitted up and off we went! We learned all about the plants and natural formations of the canyon and got to experience the glow worms up close and personal!! and climb and absail some epic waterfalls!! Every part of this epic adventure was amazing!! This is a must do if you are In raglan

Shiny above and all around you!
While the canyon itself is relatively mellow (middle of a very hot summer so the water level was low), the fact that it's at night makes it absolutely worthwhile!! Beautiful night with the stars and so many glowworms! Loved the finish at the waterfall with our kawakawa tea. Amazing guiding by Ella, thank you!!

Amazing Experience
Great experience and will definitely recommend it. We had an amazing guide and she was so patient with my kids. Would definitely recommend.
