Took daughter and son in law and enjoyed the thrill of the speeding zig zagging boat but also the spectacular scenery of rushing water down a gorge with rocks rising steeply on either side, opening up to views of snow capped mountains in the distance.

Hello my name is shonese wright we booked in for the 3rd of march for my birthday and I’m telling you me and my family had an absolute blast!! We were the loudest people on the boat and the biggest group but I’m telling you we’d book again in a heartbeat!!! Definitely coming here again. You guys catered to our needs 100%!!!

We had 2 very relaxing evenings at Hanmer Springs hot pools! A bummer 3 of the pools were under maintenance but we do realise we probably were visiting during off peak season ☺️

Beautiful setting surrounded by pine trees and mountain views. The Hanmer Springs thermal hot pools are definitely a place to visit to relax and unwind.

Not too crowded even during the weekend. My partner left her phone in the changing room and got it back from the lost and found counter within minutes. Safe environment, clean pools, nice and warm for winter.

The hot pools are AMAZING!! There are multiple pool at vairing temperatures, something to suit everyone. The environment is clean and peaceful- a real little sanctuary. We will definitely be back!!

Loved this place ! The pools were great and super clean. Do not wear silver in the pools ,there are signs but it’s not all that clear. Nearly died when all my Tiffany jewellery when bronze ! (Lady at the shop put it in the silver cleaner and all was well). Highly recommend! We did the night time pools and are heading back tomorrow for a morning dip before hitting the road.

Had a fantastic evening swim after flying from Wellington and driving to Hanmer. The evening is the most special time to visit the pools with the lighta on, especially on a cold winter's night.

We had an amazing day spent at the pool. Both the husband and I went with our young school aged children. One thing I would recommend is to take extra towels and if it's cold a rash shirt/wetsuit top if you plan to be going from on pool to another. Lovely and helpful staff. We were lucky to be there during a week day so there were no ques and not many people in the pools. We will definitely be back.

Visited Hanmer Spring after years and invited my German friends to the hot pools . Just a perfect night after being 4 days on the road . Great place to chill n relax and warm up the bones in the steamy winter wonderland. The low season gave up heaps of space and privacy in the pools ;)

We had a great day. It seems we were lucky for both the weather and the show. We saw 2 Sperm whales quite quickly, then we went along the coast to see some sea lions. The weather was splendid! ☀️ In short, a great experience, even if we still don't want it anymore, we have to be satisfied with what is available to us and it was an excellent day! Thanks to Mel for his explanations and humour and to the captain for his reactivity!!

I had a one hr massage on Saturday and I must say, it was THE BEST!!! The massage therapist I had, was lovely, she listened to what I said about my aches and pains and made sure she spent extra time and effort on those areas, including using some sort of deep heat type product which worked wonders. I felt very relaxed afterwards and loved every minute. Thank you so very much, I will most definitely be back.

Would highly recommend a trip to hanmer springs. The pools were absolutely lovely and the town equally so. Lots of cute shops and restaurants to visit. Spend the day here you wont regret it ?

Wifi wasnt going well receptionist done a nice thing and connected me to another server. Park is nice, relaxing, lots of people though, was annoyed cos I was trying to take a nice photo of the view but a canoodling couple were always in the way.. they should have a couples only pool lol.

The pools are awesome, clean, & has different temperature degree. The facilities, including the "Photo lady", are perfect. With the scenic view from the pools, it's just can't be missed while you are in South island

Heard about so much but yesterday had a great experience all thermal hot pools are fantastic we loved it all days goes like fast highly recommend for anyone who wants to chill and relax just a matter how busy it s for us it wasn’t

Great customer service and lifeguards were very helpful and friendly. The range of pools and activities were excellent! Reminded us of Wet n Wild Gold Coast

Absolutely loved it.

Lovely place to visit, we visited during end of July, so mid-winter and the hot springs was absolutely amazing when it’s cold out. We also went quite early so there wasn’t as much people who had visited and left a couple of hours later after lunch when it started getting more busy and crowded. Lots of benches and chairs near the main pool and the rides to put belongings but there’s also cubbies and lockers (for hire) near the hot pools. Would definitely visit again, maybe during warmer weather to see the difference.

I extremely loved this place. Last night was my 6th visit and it was awesome. 42 degrees hot pool ?‍♂️ is the best one ☝️. Will highly recommend to everyone.
