I loved every minute of it - even in poor weather conditions, the tour guide made sure we were well looked after and was very accommodating with alternatives on the day. Thank you for the great trip experience. I will be back!

The view is breathtaking. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The animals are cute and wonderful and you can feed some without the fences. Watching the sheep shearing was just a unique experience.

There's a whole range of really loveable farm animals that will actually follow you around to get patted (read: fed). The donkey and his companion Norma the pig are already worth the money if you ask me. Also ran by a really passionate lady and her husband who is happy to tell you all about the animals and their personalities and make you feel secure if you're a bit scared (like me of the big horse who later on became my newest friend). And don't forget about the stunning views that you get from the farm!

Great little farm with friendly animals. My highlight was meeting a huge horse named Florence. Great feeding all the other furry friends also! The sheep shearing show was a great bonus :-)

Had a fun day at the Animal Experience in Glenorchy. New spring lambs on the ground were amazing to see, if you have an opportunity to get out there we highly recommend. The road from Queenstown is a beautiful drive - stunning all the way. We have a couple of city kids (6, 8) having their first close up with large animals. Follow the instructions of the friendly staff and watch nervous kids turn into animal lovers in no time. Goats, Llamas and even the huge cow got pats and cuddles.

What a fantastic day our whole family had. We had the whole place to ourselves. Lovely intimate experience the kids will never forget!

The most beautiful and maintained farm experience we have been to. The owners are super friendly and helpful. The animals are incredibly friendly and non intimidating like some other farm experiences. Was very impressed how kid safe it was and how breathtaking the surrounding scenery was. Definitely worth visiting. The drive alone to Gleborchy is amazing.

This was a fun experience for our 5year old, who enjoyed being able to feed and pat the animals.

This is definitely a must try when you drive to Glenorchy! It was about 45 minutes to 1 hour drive from Queenstown CBD. The experience is very unique as you get to interact very closely with different farm animals such as pigs, Llamas, Sheep, Deer, Goats, and many more! The payment for entry came with a bag of treats, and the staff at the front give you very clear instructions on how to feed the animals. There were 4 of us so we were handed 2 bags of treats. There is also an option to purchase covers for your shoes in case the day is a bit wet (This was the case for when we went). It was definitely an unforgettable experience and we were so glad to be able to do this when we visited. Thank you!

Me, my partner, daughter and niece went to the Glenorchy Farm straight after we arrived into Queenstown. Was definitely a great interactive experience with the animals.

My teenage kids and I really enjoyed our visit here. The fabulous setting and friendly animals with big personalities made for some great photos and we enjoyed the sheep shearing demo too. The owners/members of staff were all very welcoming and happy to answer questions. Thoroughly recommend!

We had planned our trip here almost a year in advance. Three adults and we had a blast. Not only do you have the amazing setting in the back drop for your photos but you get to walk amongst the animals in the open paddock which you tend to not have at farm parks. We enjoyed feeding all the animals and the cheeky pig who gives you a smile showing all teeth and of course the cheeky sheep who gives you a sneaky leg tap so that you will feed her. We had a lovely time feeding the animals, taking photos and enjoying the peaceful setting. Please visit, this is really cool and ideal for all ages.

Very warm and welcoming owners! Stumbled upon this when browsing through fun activities to do near Queenstown and it exceeded our expectations. Went in a group of 5 and we had such an amazing time! The animals are very friendly and will approach you, we also had this beautiful view of snowcapped mountains! Highly recommend to anyone!

A beautiful experience, lovely healthy animals, beautiful property and views! We were lucky to see newborn lambs, and a great and informative sheep shearing display. My 8yo daughter did NOT want to leave!

We had an awesome afternoon in this beautiful farm which situated minutes away from Glenorchy township. Our 7 years old rated the best activity overall during our Queenstown visit and eager to visit again in the future. Super friendly hosts and lovely farm animals to interact with. Great to be able to watch the sheep shearing show too! Highly recommended to families with young children and all animal lovers.

Always such a beautiful experience at GAE with rob and the team! My girlfriend and I went together and had the whole place to ourselves! Rob even let us feed the possums which was awesome! Never gets boring being able to interact with the animals! A must do day out with friends, family or even on your own when coming to Queenstown.

Our two year old through to our six and nine year old all had a great time. They loved feeding the animals. The view is also Magic. We sat and had lunch on the picnic tables outside before heading off. Great time had by all

The team here are so welcoming my group felt like home. This is by far the best the best experience of our trip, we arrived and despite weather conditions it was still the BEST!!! the animals are so well trained, the staff are soooo lovely and absolutely enjoyed every bit. Worth the long drive and the last minute booking too! I would definitely come back again! ❤️ If you are contemplating to go, I 100% recommend!!!!

We entered this secluded farm, a bit hesitant thinking maybe it's only for kids. The host was very welcoming & the layout of the farm is very interactive with an open space to walk around with the sheep and also controlled with pigs and alpacas in the gates as well. We went during winter so no sheep shearing, looking forward to returning in summer! Highly recommend 6 stars experience :D

I had SO MUCH fun petting the animals! Feeding alpacas and petting a sheep that comes close to you as asks for cuddles! Not to say the gorgeous fluffy donkey that lives with the fluffy pig that opens his mouth straight away for you to drop a bite from the top! Hahha Definitely recommend and definitely will come back!

The location is beautiful... the owners are very nice and friendly. You can feed the animals and wander around the farm.. The scenery is magnificent..
