Great activity for both beginners and experienced riders. If you know what to do you can canter while beginners are safe behind with an instructor. Amazing feeling to be back at the saddle. Stunning views and opportunity for perfect photos with a glacier at the background. Can highly recommend it ;)

Lake Matheson is a true natural beauty and I'm so glad I visited it through the eco tour. We were a small group of three people and our guide, Rose, was just great! She gave us so many information about the plants and creatures living in the surroundings and was very prepared to answer all our questions. Plus the hot chocolate and cookies in front of the lake was the best way to enjoy the amazing view. I would definitely recommend this trip! :)

Experiencing this tour at sunset was magical. The photo opportunities of the glacial reflections in the lake were unbelievable. Having a guided tour with Cliff was fantastic and made the experience all that much better.

Our guide Ben was so knowledgeable about the plants and tiny orchids in the forest on the Lake Matheson walk that we learned a lot from him. We were blessed with good weather and have fantastic sunset views of Lake Matheson. With Ben’s advice we managed to capture some lovely photos of not only the lake but also some tiny orchids. Thank you Ben for an excellent tour.

Cliff was our guide and was absolutely brilliant! Learnt a lot about the valley, had some gorgeous views and shared some hilarious stories. He adapted the tour to suite the 3 of us. Was nice to be taken off the beaten track :)

Awesome one! First ever skydive and they made it so memorable and hard to beat! Did the kea jump! Lucky for the good weather and my coach checked everything to keep us safe! So, just dive in the air and enjoys the magnificent glacier and coastal view! Definitely loved it! Thanks for everything guys!

The drive to Franz Josef was magnificent! Once you arrive, you are greeted by professional staff. Then you’re taking to the drop zone where the instructors are even more friendly and professional! Great time, stunning views - a must do adventure!

We booked for Thursday at the beginning but it was supposed to be cloudy and rainy so they sent us an email the day before to do it this day, to have better conditions, thank you for that. They are really nice, professional, fun and so on. A lot more scenic that up at Able Tasman. Amazing, thank you guys !

An amazing experience. Yes it’s super touristy with many helicopters flying but to be able to fly over and land on the glacier next to rainforest is a unique thing to do. We loved it! And we very lucky with the weather as cloud came down after grounding helicopters and the next day it’s pouring with rain. Don’t hesitate. Do it!

Great company and the staff were prompt gave us indications when we could go or not due to weather. I’d definitely recommend doing the twin glacier with snow landing as so much to see and awesome to land on the snow! Enjoyed it very much. Pilot was experienced and friendly. Would go again in the winter time!

An amazing experience with perfect weather on the day we landed on the Franz Josef glacier. Our pilot Victor was great and very helpful, assisting us with taking our photos after we landed. Unfortunately the staff at the Helicopter Line office were rude and had also overbooked our initial flight so we needed to reschedule for the following day.

This experience was genuinely one of the best things I’ve ever done in my life. The weather played a role and we weren’t able to go to the fox glacier on the day, but we still managed to go all around franz josep and land on the glacier for some time. And after that, the rain and wind came in, so we were the last flight for the day - magic! Our pilot was lovely and indulged all my tourist tendencies with my photos :) and he was very knowledgeable about the glacier itself, which made the ride even more interesting. The team at helicopter line were superb - very friendly and helpful and made the whole experience just a joy from start to finish. Couldn’t recommend this enough - you will not regret it

Our flight was postponed due to the weather. Staff changed it smoothly without hassle. With the price in here, worth to grab if you want to land on snow plus a few minutes of flight around.

We did the twin glacier flight - what an amazing experience. We loved it. Friendly staff, professional pilot and simply awesome landscape. The landing on the ice was really special. Do it, you won’t regret it.

I was worried when we arrived since the front desk staff didn’t seem very happy for us to be there but then Tanner arrived to take us to the helicopter and he was very friendly. Next we met Sam, our pilot, who was also great! He made the short trip really enjoyable and informative and the helicopter ride was very fun! I would definitely do it again!

Even only 20 minutes ride but has a great time fly over the mountain seeing the glacier and landing on the white snow mountain site. Was a wonderful experience to remember. The service was good and the front desk customer service trying their best to arrange our ride even on that day we arrived the helicopter not able to fly due to cloudy weather, made two attempt rescheduled to fly on that day and finally only the 3rd attempt in the next morning the weather favor us to fly to the mountain. The pilot was great & skilfull, not only flying the helicopter but did help us to took a few snap during the landing. To those who wish to ride/fly, recommeded to try this Helicopter agency.

It was definitely worth the money. It’s a completely different view from the top. The pilot was also very nice and explained a little bit during the helicopter flight.

Words cannot really describe the thrill of standing on the Glacier and seeing how huge and white it is. The helicopter ride is awesome...You can see waterfalls and the cracks in the ice on the journey up plus alpine huts etc. Pilots and ground crew are experienced and knowledgeable. Treat yourself!

Wow! What an absolutely fantastic place to take a helicopter ride. The scenery is absolutely picturesque and landing on top of the mountain just feels like you’re in another world. The staff were all extremely friendly and professional and made the experience that much more enjoyable. Mum and I absolutely loved this and we couldn’t recommend it any more highly!

Amazing! We were very blessed to have perfect weather. From the service at the front desk to our pilot Mike who took us up to the top of the mountain, the whole experience was awesome and the ride was very surreal. Definitely recommend this if you’re ever in Franz Josef. My family loved it and want to do this again when we come back.

We are lucky that the weather is so nice, the sky is clear and so blue. The glacier is very wonderful. Everything is so cool.???
