We had Pete as our pilot in queenstown and and it was such an amazing experience! we felt safe through out the whole experience and it made our honeymoon unforgettable. it's definitely worth the price and a once in a life time experience with beautiful views and sob much fun. we did the 50 minute scenic flight with alpine snow landing and its something we'll remember forever. thanks Pete!

Great experience from start to finish. Bridget kept us up to date after 1st trip was cancelled due to the weather. Andrew picked us up on time and pilot Ewan was great pointing things out during the flight and even warning us when to expect a wee bump or two. Cruise was also brilliant. The captain and crew kept us well informed. We’re worth the cost.

We had an amazing time with Misty Mountain Explorer in Wanaka. The scenery was absolutely stunning — dramatic mountains, crystal-clear lakes, and viewpoints that truly showcase the best of the Southern Alps. Doug made the experience truly memorable. He was incredibly friendly and generous in sharing his own local experiences and para-gliding stories. He took great care of our kids, making sure they were comfortable and engaged throughout, which we really appreciated as a family. He also thoughtfully altered the tour to suit our family’s interests, skipping the winery stop as it wasn’t our thing, and adjusting the route and timing due to the weather (it was so windy at Wishbone!) so we still had the best possible experience. We were well looked after the entire time. If there’s an opportunity next time, we’d absolutely love to try fly fishing with Doug — a pity that we had to skip due to weather! But as what Doug said, "wait 5 mins!" Highly recommended — this was a genuine highlight of our trip.

Richard and team are very experience in what they do. My 7 year old and my wife loved the beautiful scenery and flying over this beautiful place. It’s a must do activity if you are in Wanaka or Queenstown.

Due to limited numbers, we were lucky enough to receive an upgrade to a longer flight. Our pilot was friendly and informative and told us all about the area up in the air. The ride was smooth and he took us over the mountains and right up against the ice from both sides so that everyone could get pictures. It was an amazing experience. Then we landed down in the valley and were given time to walk around and take pictures. Again the pilot was more than happy to take pictures for you. It was a great experience and I highly recommend it.

A brilliant session on the lake with See It was only the second time I have been wakeboarding and Seb made it a real success by explaining everything simply whilst being easy going and easy to get along with. I would highly recommend wakeboarding with Seb at Wanaka! One of the highlights of our NZ trip so far, thanks Seb!

The day was so perfect. Seb let me use his board and play my music as we had perfect glass and weather for the session. We got to stop and take some drone footage that was awesome. Those are the kind of days you live for. Will go again next time I’m in Wanaka!

This was one of the highlights of my trip! Dan is a great guy, relaxed, easy to talk to, knowledgeable, and a good driver - which is very important given the road you’re travelling on. The scenery is breathtaking and I came home with some stunning photographs.. my favourites being the ones Dan took of me. He knew all the best places to go and would stop whenever I wanted. I was also the only one on the tour so it was great having my own private tour guide. You can pay the same and end up in a full van. This was great value for money and I can’t recommend it highly enough! Do it!!

This is definitely a must-do in Wanaka! Pedro, our guide is so professional and friendly at the same time! Shared quite abit of climbing tips with us! He took great care of our group of 3! You never want to miss this because the scenery is so worth it! And there are chances for you to take YOLO photos! Every step I climbed makes me want to climb more! Love it!

This is my second time flying with the helicopter line and still it exceeded my expectations. From the moment you book it, there will never be problems in terms of communication. Staffs were very accommodating and will assist you with all your needs and concerns. The pilot did a great job overall. It was an informative and a safe flight. The best part was when we landed on the glacier which had an amazing 360 degree view. Kudos to the pilot who can take great pictures! It was wirth every dollar. Will definitely book for a third time next winter.

Yep that's all I can say is AWESOME got some amazing photos, the staff are so great, my flight was rescheduled due to the worst rain ever, the staff booked me in for the next day & as I was coming from Wanaka I had to ring really early to see if the trip would be on & there was someone at the end of the phone which I was surprised about so a big plus for me. I would defiantly recommend these guys.

Our helicopter pilot made us feel very comfortable; he pointed out lots of landmarks, was very knowledgeable, and funny. The flight was smooth and absolutely beautiful. Being able to get out on top of the mountain was such a surreal experience, it was breathtaking. Everyone should experience NZ like this!

We had an excellent experience with pilot Kurt last month. Kurt was very knowledgeable of the area, pointing out landmarks and homes of significance. We couldn't do a Remarkables landing due to the weather so we landed on another mountain instead which was still perfect! Kurt took photos of us which was really appreciated. They provided a great shuttle experience which collected us from our hotel, taking us out to the Heliworks depot then dropped us back off in town afterwords. I would highly recommend the team at Heliworks. They made this whole experience incredible from booking to end. Thanks team!

I must have live a boring life as this is rated as the best experience in my life. However, one must understand that I have never been in a helicopter and on snow. It was a seamless experience from beginning to the end. The intern from Hamilton picked me up and we chatted quite a bit. He is a great young guy who also recommended places up in North Island. The check in people were great as well. The pilot was experienced and took us to a beautiful spot where we spent enough time to experience snow and the view and also recording them in videos and photos. I was grateful to be seated at the front and did not waste that with recording as many videos as I possibly can. Thumbs up to everyone at The Helicopter Line. Thank you for providing such a great service coupled by amazing experience.

Had a great flight up to the top of a mountain overlooking Skippers Canyon .Landed and took some great photos. What a blast 2 degrees .

Whilst Milford Sound in its own right is a place of majestic beauty and grandiosity, the flight from Queenstown to Milford with True South Flight, was a real gem! So much beauty seen, so much interesting and valuabke information given by our friendly and professional pilote, Kevin (?). More than worth its price!

Loved the trip - expensive of course but totally worth it for the time saved and the fantastic views from the plane!! The flight was even better than the cruise! The crew from True South Flights was really friendly and professional. Fully recommend!

We had a fantastic afternoon on tour with Dan! Loved all the movie sites, scenery & information - not to mention a yummy afternoon tea with a good hot chocolate! We had way too much fun dressing up in costumes & using all the cool props Dan brought along!

This tour was really informative and there are some awesome breathtaking views along the way to glenorchy, paradise valley. Our driver guide was super amazing and helped us make the most out of the tour! Would recommend to anyone who wants to properly enjoy glenorchy, paradise valley while learning the rich heritage and history around it. Farm experience was good too. 5 star ?

Fantastic tour with a fantastic driver/guide. Stunning scener all the way. It may seem a bit expensive but it's worth it. If you're a LOTR fan, this is probably something you would like. Highly recommend this.

I had a wonderful tour with Wanaka River Journeys. Our guide, Ben, was sharing many informational facts about the region throughout the whole journey and he was a joy to be around. From the pick up, the short drive to the boat take off, and the boat tour itself...I felt very taken care of by staff. Thank you for a great experience!
